If you don't have any cricut mat protectors that aren't in use protecting your mats, I've noticed some of the stickers and clear stamps come in a thicker plastic which works great for this too.
I loved this so much, I actually went in the scrap room and whipped one out!! Very cute!! Love the idea about using the acetate from the cricut mat!!! Genius!!!
I really like this card!! I watched a woman do a similar technique with the foam from an unmounted stampin' up stamp set, and added like beads inside it!! TFS! Really cute!!

A suggestion might be to cut the carrot nose out in white (same as the snowman) and color it orange. That way it would save you one step and paper.
