@Bleach9235 It is kind of two shows, during the first season (13 eps) it's a good action mecha anime, but nothing genius, though the fights are awesome and some parts are worthy of praise. During the second season they basically transform the series into a psychological thriller and they turn everything around. If you haven't watched it you'll be thoroughly impressed. Even I was, and I can't call myself an otaku. If this is not your kind of series then I recommend Cowboy Bebop.

Pretty good. There were a couple spots where the flow was disrupted, and I think the slow death scene may have looked a little better if you synced to the singer's voice, would have made the cuts feel less random. Overall pretty decent.

@hollowichigo642 That's just simple overlay. He has the close up of luffy's face on one layer, lowers the opacity on it a bit, and put whatever the flashing image is below it and cuts it up to time with the song.

Very enjoyable to watch; letting the scenes speak for themselves without drenching them in effects. You sure the whole early death to kicking ass sequence wasn't a result of you working around the song? :p Very innovative regardless.

@DNubsPro - Haha, not at all. (With the working around part). I actually edited Luffy G3 punching the marine as the VERY first thing I did because I loved that part. I wanted to put Ace in early instead of using the normal mold of people adding him into the AMV later and him dying sooner. This way it would have more impact for the video, because Luffy is STILL fighting after Ace dies which I think people haven't really used much before. One Ace dies, Luffy usually goes down.

Not the biggest fan of the music but it really grew on me because it was done so well with the video. Been waiting for a AMV that does the rescue arc proud and you've done it. Well done mannn, hope to see more from you. The ending was EPIC btw, my favourite part of the whole thing.

Don't get me wrong--some of your videos have really gotten me to like songs that I wouldn't have liked before. But this...

1) While the screaming in some of your other song choices was either good (ETF - My Apocalypse) or tolerable (This war is ours), this was just bland. It felt almost repetitive.

2) A lack of melodic parts--this is key. My Apocalypse had other parts to the song that made it so great, same with This War is Ours..this felt really lacking in that department

If you actually think those rigid shakes generated any type of impact towards the clips in any way, then you're sadly mistaking. The glow and most of the horrible effects served no purpose towards the clips besides making the editing look extremely unstable, sloppy, and messy. But that doesn't really matter since this is a horrible example of random action, and random action tends to have horrible use of effects. Nothing special, just your typical, dragged out, mediocre One Piece editing. 0/5
