These days, many Christians are taught to worship men and their words and in the process have lost The Holy Spirit completely. People are so busy yelling out about how much they praise God, that they've lost that deep personal relationship with him. It's not about drawing attention to yourself by using exclamation marks or all CAPS. It's a private experience. What's happening to that?

But I know that many people believe in god, because the church uses god as an easy answer.
Why are we living here?
Because god wanted and wants to.
I don't accept this answer and I'm searching for an answer that is logical for me.
If you think god is logical, you can be happy, I want to accept it, too, but I want logical answers.

the Bible's not only about males.... as we can see in the cases of Sarah, Miriam, Deborah, Ruth, Esther, the Marys', Salome, just to name a few.....but as in the Bible, God is just who He is (most cases calling Him Lord cuz only males can be called Lord) and Jesus is God's right heir, we are joint-heirs with Him.....if a female contributes or contributed to the Bible, it is only an inspiration from God!!! thnx

You can't "do his head in" because he is all powerful and all knowing. He listens to everyones thoughts 24/7 so i'm sure it's nice to hear cares and thoughts to honor him instead of the usual. And also my church is a safe, fun place to be. I get fellowship and they send the money i donate to people who need it so it's an all in one great place to be.

I started to lose my way in the Lord a few months ago, when I found some old song sheets with this song in the. My 6 year old asked me to sing it, as I sang the song I realized where my heart needed to be. I guess you never know where you'll find the 1 thing to remind you that God is always there and will always be there. This song was what reminded me that I need to give my all to the Lord

I promise you this: 'faith' is made out by the church to seem like a gift for a reason; if you eliminate it, there'd be no followers because none of the church claims, which are incredibly outlandish when you consider it, would be even remotely believable. Imagine..an invisible being who let his son be tortured so we can be saved from a torture pit because two people ate an apple? Faith is literally belief without proof, making one vulnerable to believing anything without analyzing evidence.
