Oh hello! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my auntie got detailed 6 pack abs and lost a lot of fat with it.
hey hey! Have you considered - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my BF got ripped 6 pack abs and lost a lot of fat with it.
Oh hello! Have you thought about - fast abs magic (should be on google have a look)? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my BF got amazing 6 pack abs and lost crazy amounts of fat with it.
Hiyaaaa! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (google it)? Ive heard some great things about it and my sister got ripped Six pack abs and lost tons of fat with it.
My sister eats like 3 grown men and has weighed 122 pounds for more than 7 years of her life! She doesn't go to work, school, OR excersise? ME however, am a picky and less eater and what I do eat I make sure its healthy. Why the hell do I weigh 150 pounds??
There is no metabolism that makes you fat or skinny.
Metabolism is how fast the body works, people with fast metabolisms burn energy quickly and gain energy quickly.
Once you have a fast metabolism you will also get fat or thin faster than everyone else, but if that happens it's more of a 'broken metabolism' because it means the gaining energy and using energy are completely mismatched.
@Mauriscinasa If I calculated correctly, then your BMI is 18.6. You are very close to being underweight, but not dangerously so at the moment. I'd say keep working out and do allow yourself a bit more sweets along with the healthy foods you eat. With your stats you need more than 2200 kcal / day to increase your weight.
I WANT TO GAIN WEIGHT SO FUCKING BAD!!! i would spend 5 hours working out on my muscles and my back and my Stomach. If only if i weight 200 pounds.Because people with Fast metabolism is more harder then people with slow metabolism because even though they are fat no matter how FAT are they they could spend like 5 or 8 hours Working out. We skinny bastards Eat and we get full too Quickly! if we eat anymore we WILL vomit . Ya fat asses! can keep working out and you can keep going... ! :[
Genes are definatly the main factor when it comes to body fat. My brother is 21, drinks like a fish and eats whole pizzas to himself and doesn't gain an ounce, meanwhile I'm slogging my guts out down the gym, cutting all carbs and snacking on almonds and berries to stay slim, I mean WTF?
What if I'm 6"3, 130 lbs, but despite being unable to walk for a month and a half and doing nothing but eating and sleeping (consuming about 3500-4000 calories a day) I didn't gain a pound. I lost weight, in fact, approx. 25 pounds. I was 155 to start with.
@AdamBarcaParsons Nope, there isn't. But you know what? Relax! Maybe you are slim, but I bet you are 100% fit! One thing you could do, if you don't already, train your muscles. Being as fit as you are that should look really good on you!
I wna speed up my metabolism. Im 15, and I spend 50% of my life exerciseing, and I don't eat much, yet I am 162. 6ft. Im not worried about my weight or anything, its just its annoying to havta spend hours every day exercising, and all weekend, and to count calories
Dude, you are lying, Cytochrome P450 in the body metablises lipids. The reality is, some people have some epigenetic conditions due to inheritance that makes them slow to metabolise stuff.
Yes, but some people my age will eat the same amount of McDonalds the I eat and yet be more fat.
@moddingpc Excellent question! You are rightfully are this critical and I should as always have included my sources. I now have done so and you you can find the link in the description.
I wish more people could see this. I know a lot of people who refuse to try to lose weight; they think it's pointless because of their "slow metabolism." It's one of those hyper exagerated myths that really keeps people from reaching their fitness goals. It's almost as bad as the bulking-cutting, and targeted fat removal beliefs.
@titans091052 Well, people are also fed this believe by "nutritionists" and the like. But have a look at the NEJM study I linked to - it may be an interesting read for some of those ;)
I agree with you that it is implausible to a very high extent when people bring up this argument from experience (rather, ignorance). But! And I don't mean that this statement can't be true without scientific research, but has there been any you know of done like the kind you give example of near the end? (People burning the same, or nearly the same amount of kcal doing the same things?)
Just so it's not a matter of conforming the world to the hypothesis and not the other way around. :)
Thanks a bundle! Also, I said before that I was on a break to recuperate before I got back to bodybuilding and I have begun to do so lately and I'm trying to widdle my way around with scientific facts about nutrition and experience applying it. Trying out some different things right now than I did in the past and I'll see if I can attribute any positive or negative effects from it. As always, a big thank you for your efforts, gratitude might not be much in the wallet, but still. <3

People totally misunderstand metabolism.

I really like your videos but i disagree with you on this one. You are practically denying the existence of body types;
I think genes are the number 1 factor that influence your BMR;

How can I tell if I have a fast or slow metabolism? If I have slow, then can I still lose fat?
SAYURU89 10 months ago
@AdamBarcaParsons Yep, stop moving and keep eating as you do now.
Seriously, if you eat a lot and don't gain weight then you also are rather active.
