Science basically just means "knowledge". So pretty much anything can be science. From the sciences of the lesser arts, to chemistry, to social science, to fiscal science (a.k.a math), to other sciences. Science and religion being opposites, in theory, is a false dichotomy because religion is a religious persons "science" or knowledge. Dosen't mean its true, but it's still science. Awkward concept, eh?
