He uses some ya's and oo's as well. I see your videos are vocal covers, and they are also fairly clean, not many effects. You may as well use auto tune to be honest same effect, talkboxes for guitars are also alot different then ones for synth's.

What you do and what happens here are 2 completely different applications of the device, to be honest, you can't say yours is better, then is a non vocal guitar solo, and you do vocal synth covers.
