im the type of person that is terrified of hieghts. The only way I wouldnt be is if i had a pair of wings and could at least soar 30mph. Other then that I would grip off to the right side of this shit on the floor and grip tight on to a pair of vegitation screaming
You gotta remember, this is a two way highway for trucks and buses into Bolivia's capital city, La Paz. Watching buses and trucks come head to head and then back up until one can get passed on this dirt 'track' is amazing. I agree though, on a mountain bike, its pretty straight forward.
Actually, this was just a nice lil spot, this is the most dangerous road in the world..look it up. so named because it has thee most deaths a year than anywhere else. believe it is in south america.
This is the fall water going to Los Yungas in La Paz Bolivia. its so amazing and wondeful places to visit. Bolivia, is a natural kimdong in the world.
lol i was up higher on the road taking a piss and some idiots thought it was a waterfall. had just been drinking a lot of water cause i was cycling all day
You're right. It's a dirt road down the side of a mountain which is oen car line wide. More than enough room for a bike. It's the world's most dangerous road because it is the main road in and out of La Paz, Bolivia's capital, which has two way traffic, mostly buses and trucks. On a single lane road, this makes getting past each other crazy. It was awarded the name of the World's Most Dangerous Road as a result of a statistical study of the most people dying on any road around the world!
I don't think this trail's about adrenaline filled freeride Pope; but the longest bikeable downhill in the world it could well be, so quit the moaning.
cool
