  • would u sell your kit

  • @BkbladzZz

Sorry but I want to hang on to it. I built it up from parts and advice from an electronics supply house but I am sure there are some off the shelf units that would work even better.

  • Where can you find a variable power supply like that? I want to do some anodizing but am having a lot of trouble finding one.

  • krykostorm ı earn money with this it is also impossible with aliminium

but ı advice you to do it titanium

  • could you make it black? or sort of dark blue such as in blueing gun barrel?

  • Very useful video! Where can I find power converter? Is it possible to use instead of the car battery charger? Thanks.

  • @reyand64

Ideally, you want a DC variable voltage supply. A battery charger is not going to give you control of the voltage to the bath.

  • titanium can produce every color in the spectrum. Hell you can even use Coke as a electrolyte...

  • @gqstylez2 please tell me more, I want to do this right away, I have hundreds of titanium rings.

  • i want to annodize my money clip but i dont have these things... hmm

  • Can you do the same process with aluminum?

  • @KrykoStorm

No, aluminum will not anodize in this method. Other reactive metals like tantalum and niobium can be anodized in the same fashion.

  • Turning the light on demonstrated that it was not effected by being submersed in an electrically active solution. Its electronic circuit is independent and isolated from external influences.

  • I don't understand why you turned the UV light on in the anodizing solution. Was there any particular reason why you did that, or was it just to show us the light lol? Good video by the way :).

  • The anode connects to the titanium piece to be anodized. The cathode connects to the plate in the bath itself. The ammonium sulfate Is not a hazard that I am aware of. I wouldn't eat it but it is used as a fertilizer and even as a food additive from what I understand. It is a salt.

  • Which is the anode and which is the cathode, tweezers/beaker?

  • How do u get it back?

  • when Ti turns blue in the process, is that just a diffraction effect? or is the surface being converted into Titanium Tetroxide?

  • Watter so I do not understand ?????

  • lol isnt the solution corrosive? should be wearing gloves

  • if your food is covered in pesticides. should you were gloves wen you eat :)

  • that would be entirely pointless becuase if you had to wear gloves you were not able to digest it in the first place so you wouldnt be eating it.

in addition I didnt take it off mute the first time I saw the video.

  • your stomach acid would neutralize it.

That's what im guessing happened to the penny i ate.

  • this can actually be done in coke

  • its baking soda and water i think if so no its not corrosive but doing this would make some other chemical i would think so wearing gloves would be best

  • awesome Don, I just think it's cool to finally put a voice to the man who's lights I enjoy so much. ;) I've never been to SHOT Show so I rely on what other's have said about you; all good things by the way.

  • Cool, thanks for sharing...

  • Excellent Don. Thanks for sharing.

  • Very cool stuff Don..!

    Thanks..!

  • very cool Don! I would have never guessed it was that easy. Not like anodizing aluminum .

    Thanks for the demo
