@beratio well those kicks are all 1 hit ko strikes, but the problem is, is that theyre not practical. its too risky to try and pull off something this fancy in a fight. if you miss, youre dead, and its also very difficult to find such an opening when the fighter is up close and trying to tkae you to the ground
@WaTeRpOoPfArT Thats the problem with any type of technique. You miss a punch, you're at risk. You miss a kick and you're at risk.
Those "fancy" kicks would actually be very powerful. Looking at the video, i know this dude. He's a Capoiera and Taekwondo specialist. Those moves he's doing is just for stunts, not for fighting.
why do people think martial arts is only all about killing someone?
oh, do I always have to be the one educate people? cha-lee yoon's main style is taekwondo, from what I can tell, he's also a tricker (a tricker is someone who practices tricking/XMA) and stuntman, obviously we all know what a stuntman is. the fancy part is all tricking, it's not ment for fighting, it's a new underground sport thats quickly becoming popular. look it up, I won't explain everything
@Smokeystyle Because Martial Arts are originally Military and Hunting instead of Self Defense. Some of the first systems came from fighting methods where killing was necessary.
Now a days its more for Self Defense, Sport and Military systems with Military being more traditional to the sense of Martial Arts.
Yes, this guy in the video is a Tricker and Stuntman. No idea what the rest of your rant was for.
definitely an acrobatic, but not sure how well those moves would work in a fixed cage fight.
