    No. They were together for 8 years and then split as friends. A few years later Chopin died, age 39.

  • It was released in 2002. I enjoy it very much; the acting and the costumes are great. There were made a polish and a british version (with british actors lip-syncing the dialogue, not bubbing it).

  • Well, Desire for Love focuses on Chopin's life, while Impromptu focuses on George Sand. I would also believe that Desire for Love is more "historical correct". Impromptu is a lovely film and very amusing, but I think it's quite silly and fluffy overall.
