My VERY similar experience when we boarded a crowded Amtrak in Chicago. They let Senior Citizens & phys. challngd to board first. We look "normal", THAT can be our handicap, how sad is that? I realized that day, how mean, and cruel people can be. Many, loud, rude comments. IN FRONT OF MY 9 YR OLD DGHTER, AND SHE HEARD them ALL. It cracked my trust with who to trust for help. Obviously, not everyoneis as understanding.I truly am shocked to find that people are so mean,Hang in there, Lauren!
