  • Maybe I will send you my latest project; its a nice little AVR transistor tester. do you have an atmega328p? I can send you a free PCB and schematic. It just takes 3 standard transistors, few resistors, a 5v regulator, a trimpot, and an LCD.

  • @BrentBXR thank you very much. although i don't have an atmega328p, but can you send me your PCB to me? I'll try to use PCB after the exam. :)

  • @nsmvgpdf Nope; I cant do that. If not owning a atmega328p will slow you down then I wont waste my time sending you a pcb..... I will just have to send you the PCB and a pre-programmed atmega328p :D . I also always send the schematic, board file, and partslist with my pcbs; as you will find out. it takes the most basic of parts; so im sure you have them on hand to finish this within an hour. PM your address.

  • @BrentBXR my email is: nsmvgpdf@gmail.com

  • Why the heck is there so many components and differnt boards? UART and LCD with an ATMEGA with UART takes 2(UART), 4(LCDDATA), 3(LCD CNTRL), 1?(LCD BL) so. ~10PINs . Then a MAX232 (one with internal or external caps) should only take a couple caps, couple resistors, a trimpot for contrast, a serial connector. I mean its a small circuit. I have made tons of LCD circuits and double that UART circuits. Its not tough or complicated; whats with all the boards and such? i mean one smll bb would do..

  • @BrentBXR it was because i'm just a high school student, at that time 'm just a beginner, so it may be not good enough, but for me, is a big step for me to learn.

  • @BrentBXR at that time I'm just a beginner and now i'm a high school student, so it maybe not very good, but it's a big step for me.

  • @nsmvgpdf Sorry; its just i see so many of these little projects; everyone who has ever done anything in electronics feels like they need to post videos on it. and i know i dont have to watch; but i do enjoy seeing NEW things if i can find them. anyways your just in highschool then this is a great job. Keep on hacking bro, it just keeps getting more and more interesting :D endless possibilities in the hardware/software world.

  • @BrentBXR thank you BXR, i'll keep do it well. :)
