For everyone who is saying they have third gen when it says second it's because your iPod touch is 8gb right? Third gen 8gb is actually only second gen with updated firmware which means pretty much nothing. If you go on amazon you will find that they changed the iPod touch gen 3 name to second with updated os firmware.
