  • Does someone know where Can I find the movie online?

  • Had Gore won, little would have changed. There are unnamed powers that are our enemy, not the puppets paraded for our amusement and distraction. The office is decided in the primaries, where few pay attention. Its vote rigging here that makes a difference, and its going on right now. You will eventually be given your two "choices".

  • Demand Open / Transparent / Fair elections Support blackboxvoting (DOT) org

  • Can you imagine a Pres. Gore? Thank God enough Floridians gained the sense to cast votes for George W. Bush... A great leader of our country. History will look kindly at Dubya.

  • @HatchettBasketball Are you retarded? Gore would've been 10 times better president.

  • The blood of all those lost soldiers in Iraq is on those people's hands and souls

  • God does that bring back some horrible memories.

  • Comment removed

  • No wonder they call him "James Baker The Deal Maker"

  • A superb factual account of the cohersion, corruption and criminal misconduct that officials in the state of Florida and the Republican party used to shatter a democratic republic and steal an election. Shameful times in America... the following 8 years of incompetence, embarrassment and failure of the Bush administration was only proof of that. No wonder America became a laughing stock of the international community.

  • Haha, Obama is not better than G.W. Bush, especially not on the employment-area... They're basically the same crap, different a-holes...

  • Youtube, when will you get rid of these spam messages from these website.co.cc assholes!

  • seriously G.W Bush was the smartest republican?

  • Elements are nice, completely acting is good, very colorful details, high-concept novelty, and even better on moovi.co.cc everything what I said... Yes, actors are awesome too.

  • Guys, saw this recently in the cinema and again on moovi.co.cc... Wasnt sure about this when i first heard about it but reviews and general reaction told me otherwise so i watched it.

  • Goshh!! what animation and awesome story!! my kids loved it... thanks moovi.co.cc... :) Guys, this is the site you gotta check out for the best quality films!!

  • "I cannot accept the terms after the certification deadline unless there is a hurricane."

"Does her makeup count as a hurricane?"

    MAJOR LOL!

  • Amazing movie! Saw it jus once but really good one for me! It is playing online on moovi.co.cc!! Just try it, dont cost you anything, u just will enjoy!

  • People, you must see his..God, I think I'll put this film on my list of best movies of all time. I actually thought the plot was good, but nothing spectacular, but when it finished, I wanted more and more. Watch this and tell me am I having right?? You'll be shocked actually, believe me!! see this on moovi.co.cc--my sugesstion!

  • Why the hell couldent it have been Jeb running...

  • @airdriver, you must also be a liberal left individual. Grow a brain you say,....is that why I have achieved success by going all the way in my education and career (by paying for my education by working the night shift). Or should I use my hard worked earnings by working hard for higher taxes for the people who are say they don't have the same opportunities because they are just plain lazy and want handouts from the government and wealthy. Maybe you should grow a brain.....

  • this movie was so left liberal wing produced. Bullshit! The country has no idea what tyranny they have done by putting barry obama in the white house.

  • @njain1982

Give it a rest and grow a brain, will you?

  • Bush won, fair and square. The bull shit has to stop

  • @Frogboss6 Gore has nobody but himself to blame for losing. Gore lost HIS OWN HOME STATE OF TENNESSEE, folks! That's the part of the it that should be discussed the most. If Gore wins his own state of Tennessee, Clinton's state of Arkansas, or West Virginia, states Clinton carried TWICE, nobody cares about Florida! The media also got it wrong by calling Florida too early when the panhandle hadn't finished voting! Harris herself told the networks not to call the state until all polls closed!

  • I loved the story-line and I laughed out loud a number of times, really good movie that you can find on kookíca

  • It was a simple thing to do, scrutinize every ballot in the state and then recount them and then declare a winner, but Gore would have not part of doing that. He only wanted to do it to the ballots in the democrat areas.

  • Best action movie I've seen in a long time on kookíca. Well acted, highly entertaining, intense and well shot. Better dialogue and character development than one typically expects from the genre.

  • I own the DVD i love this movie but ever time i see it i can't help to think what America was then and what it is now. Today America is a country where war and quantitative easing is the new normal and where about half a million Americans a month is joining the ranks of food stamp recipients. How can a nation that once was invinceble and unstoppeble have fallen so deep and so fast. We in the rest of the world need to take lessons from there misstakes and not to laugh at there misfortunes.

  • "Honor and dignity"

    ...

    HA!

  • Wow Bush lost by 400K+ votes nationwide and possiblity still lost in FL if it wasn't for his brother Jeb, his daddy freind Baker and that airhead Harris. This what you call a democracy America! Yanks are the dumbest people in the world.

  • @12Aggiefan If you don't know how our system works then don't make an idiot of yourself by commenting on it. Our President is elected by the electoral college, not by the popular vote of the people. This is how it has always been and how it will always be. Basically the states vote for the President.

  • great movie i actually lived in florida when this election took place

  • What's amazing is that this movie actually under-exaggerated Katherine Harris...

  • Stealing an Election; AKA, How to Flush a Whole Decade Down the Toilet.

  • The first hoax , the second was 911...

  • Thats a serious film. . .Gore should have won

  • One thing that i find funny about America is the weight they put in rhetoric over law. It seems that in America a good lawyer will get you passed any law no matter how well it is written.

What other western country has so many absurd court rulings as the US?

This election was a fraud, and because the US is the only super power in the world, it was not just the American people who was betrayed, but the whole world.

But a fraud is a fraud, re-electing this inbred on the other hand was stupidity.

  • @TheSaltyAdmiral

and that´s the craziest thing about it, he got re-elected!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

only in the US could such a joke ever happen

  • I can't believe I only just now found 'the stains of Bill Clinton' funny. I guess I was still overwhelmed by the depressing, inevitable outcome, to catch the smaller jokes.

  • نعنبوا سواليفكم ياهالأمريكان ! :D xD

  • ههههههههههه

  • This movie exposed Republicans so badly lol. Gore won

  • @thatisabigten4

Ever heard of the word biased?

  • BUSH DID NOT WIN THE 2000 ELECTION

  • "The plural of chad is chad?"

  • "Last great democracy!"

  • The part that almost had me in tears :

    "It's time to stop."

  • Yes, thank God Bush won. By 2008 we inherited a national budget bankrupted by tax cuts for the rich, a misguided war in Iraq, a shattered economy, a New Orleans which is still in ruins, along with strained relations with our allies and heightened histilities with our enemies. Again, thank God Bush won...

  • It's easy to say things would have been better if the result were different. We could also have been a lot worse also. ONE WORLD ORDER.

  • @FranklyMisterShankly

Yeah, 3 years later, look at the idiot we have today.

  • @MidNiteR32 compared to Perry Cain Paul bachmann you are kidding right

  • @LeighMet

As opposed to what? Obama? I'll take my chances with someone other than Bush 3.0 (Obama).

  • @MidNiteR32 he is nothing like Bush. Obama goes after terrorist where they are. He wants and got better healthcare coverage for people.

  • @LeighMet

LMAO, keep telling yourself that. Mr. Nobel Peace price that killed innocent people in Yemen just two months after his inauguration.

  • @MidNiteR32 yeah Mr. Bin Laden dead. we are out of Iraq Gaddaqfi dead. And I would not have given im the peace prize

  • @MidNiteR32

Gudaffi dead, yeah someone who wasn't a threat to the U.S., NATO killing innocent children in Libya -- I guess illegal wars are good if you have a black face.

  • @MidNiteR32 tell that Gaddiffi is no threat to the familes members of Pam AM 103 victims

  • @LeighMet

Again you prove ignorance, you fail. I guess you support killing innocent people, violence, and illegal wars. You sir are the problem.

  • @MidNiteR32 What Illigals war are you talking about. Obama went to the United Nations for Permission. Its not a war even though the milatary is involved. What makes you think I like killing innocent people.. Gaddaffi was far from innocent.

  • @LeighMet

LMAO, permission to attack Libya from UN = not authorized under our Constitution. Go back and read Article 1 Section 8. of our constitution; President must get authorization to go to war by Congress -- NOT THE U.N.. Gadaffi was not a threat to the U.S. what part don't you understand. I guess you don't know that UN bombed and killed many innocent Libyans all under Obama's belt, which is murder.

  • @MidNiteR32 Yes I know it was a milatary action and that there is always collatreal damage. Would you have had CLinton wait for Congress to act in Kosovo. Would you rather it be like Bush 43 and lie or exagarate to the COngress to get approval. What about Oanama 1989 when Norigiga was a drug kingpin for lack of a better word. Obama saw suffering by a dictator who the people actually wanted to get rid of and tried to help.

  • @LeighMet

Both Presidents were war mongers. What's your point?

  • @MidNiteR32 my point is in 2012 you have a chance to get rid of obama if you want to the Libyans since 1969 wanted Ghadaffi gone and they couldn't do so till 2011

  • @LeighMet

Al Qaeda runs Libya now since he is gone, Google it. Ah yes, we got rid of dictator, to put in another! Smart!

  • @MidNiteR32 what dictator are you talking about

  • Respond to this video... And a man who harbors terrorist and welcomes them back with open arms when Scotland releases them becuase he claims to .be on his death bed. So he could cut a deal with BP Or did you forget that

  • @FranklyMisterShankly Wait is that sarcarsm

  • haha it appeas that the makers of this movie are still bitter about what happened 8 years ago. its a shame how people live in the past.

  • @NaturalLife24 what?? is history. Havent you watched documentaries or movies based on true stories?? bitter? ok. so we're all bitter cuz we study history.

  • The rumors are true. A sequel to the popular HBO movie Recount has already been written and published. It is currently in book form:

    Purple State by Alex Hutchinson.

    Paperback: 278 pages

    ISBN-10: 1438246137

No word yet if HBO has bought the rights or if it is being rewritten as a screenplay.

  • The scene with the sample ballot was like something you would see at the very end of a "Curb Your Enthusiam" episode before the end credits. LOL!

  • Reminds me of the end of Raiders.

  • Google Jeff Fisher Peace on Earth Forever and everyone please take it to the streets and all try to come to Philadelphia USA and fill the city up by the millions of protestors and peace lovers.

Spread this posting everywhere. Albert and I want to say thank you again to HBO.

  • "...and your blind as a fucking bat. But fortunately for us, blind fucking bats tend to vote democratic" Best line of the movie XD

  • Did anyone ever tell you that you say fuck alot? :)

  • now i dont get it i mean im a democrat too but when liberals say gore realy won i have to argu cause our govn't was not founded on the principle of winning though the popular vote they founding fathers new adverage was stupid and would go along with everybody

  • they mean that he really won Florida. That way he would have won popular and electoral.

  • Finally I get to say this.

By January 20th the stains of George W. Bush will be washed away and honor and dignity will finally be restored to the White House.

  • lol that was a creepy line...

  • TODAY IS ELECTION DAY. DID YOU VOTE?

You can't Vote tomorrow. Vote today, Vote Now.

  • It's interesting to note that for 2008, the Electoral Vote deadline is DECEMBER 15th. LOL! Back in 2000, the deadline was on Election night, like I said: between 2300 hours, Nov. 7th & 0500 hours, Nov. 8th. Looks like they're not taking chances this time.

  • i watched this movie last night..it was totally cooler than any political movies. im gonna buy the dvd, hell yeah

  • I cannot wait for it's debut on British TV next week! I've seen plenty of documentaries on this, its catagoric that Bush cheated his way to becoming the worsed, most deterministic leader since Hitler. I really hope this doesn't happen again...It's the only way McWar will get in!

    We want change! OBAMA 08

    Ben, Doncaster, England

  • going a little far with hitler huh? He was bad but he's not hitler folks

  • This was such a great movie!! Amazing performances by all as well as a great score. It however was heartbreaking to watch. To see our election system break down when we needed it the most is so frustrating. I'm surprised how much back and forth and arbitrary rules were made up and enforced. I'm still baffled we let this thing get so out of control

  • I totally agree, i just thought Kevin Spacey and the whole cast were brilliant. But i was so angry at how they could just all cheat their way to presidency. It was hard to watch how close it was for Gore's side, everytime it looked like they had them recounted and won, they make up so lame thing to stop it.

    Terrific movie none the less.

  • cause and effect.

the effects will be felt for GENERATIONS to come.

    RIP america.

  • Simple question "Why did the Bush camp fight to avoid an election?" US Civil Rights Commission investigation found 1 in 10 black voters had their ballots rejected. Whites had 1 in 50 rejected. Black vote in Florida was 90% for Gore. If they would have counted all the black votes, Gore would have won by roughly 40,000. Why weren't these votes counted? Have to find out to get to the bottom of this. NO ONE can say things were fair for the VOTERS in Florida.BTW, I voted for neither of them.

  • I was so surprised that I watched the whole movie. I loved it. I was on edge the whole time.

  • after the lady says early in the movie "we're gonna need a lawyer" and the cnn truck pulls up, a real catchy jingle starts playing. WHAT IS THAT THEME?!

  • Amazing movie !

  • I like the other trailer's music better because it makes the film seem more dramatic.

  • Great Song for this Situation.

  • Wow...everyone slept in gov't class and were alarmed there has been a system in place by the framers?

  • can anyone tell me the name of the song that starts at :34 ?? Thank you so much if anyone can tell me it!

  • It's "Stuck In The Middle With You" by Stealers Wheel.

  • yeah, i got it but thanks!

  • Recounts have been done after the elections, i believe in 2001. Statewide recounts that included votes such as chad would have won the election for Gore.

  • Oh, so REPUBLICAN leaning groups were the only ones who saw them winning? And why is that more reliable when liberal and independent groups (especially independants) say it wasnt so?

  • That's not true. I voted for neither of these two but the state wide recount with hanging and dimpled chads being counted made Gore the winner. The news articles that said Bush won in the headline stated that buried further in the article. You have to ask yourself "why would Bush not want a state wide recount in the first place." If the roles were reversed, would you not want a recount as well?

  • You know, the way the elections went on that first night, even before the FL debacle, was just a piss-cutter. We thought our Popular Votes would count for something. They first reported a Gore win based on the popular votes as they were that night. But then the Electoral Votes came in and it didn't matter anymore. They ultimately decided who won, not us. They projected early that bush would certainly win in FL because of Jeb.

  • So, Bush was declared the winner on these grounds even before the FL vote recount came up. And even if 95% of FL had voted for Gore, all it took was the Electoral College to vote for Bush and there you go - a Bush victory after all. After that, the recount seemed like just a futile effort. In '04, Kerry really didn't seem like he'd win, so I don't have a grudge here. Now, we just need to see how this one goes. Obama may win the Popular but can we be be sure he'll win the Electoral too?

  • Yeah, something was very wrong from the get go. I voted for neither but I find it plain and simply wrong that not all the votes were counted. How can either side say it would he harmful for all the votes to be counted? US Supreme court delays the recount then says theres not enough time to finish the recount when they are the ones who stopped it. I really can't believe this didn't anger more people.Even Bush supporters should have been angry about this.Everyones vote should be counted.

  • Well, even with all the Popular votes being counted or not counted, the Electoral College favored Bush with their votes (by less-than 2% or so) and that was all it took to win. It was easily assumed and understood that Florida's Electoral Votes were certainly going to Bush and not Gore. All the recount did was delay the inevitable. The Popular Votes that were lost would not have helped Gore to win. The contest is fixed if we have no Democratic control over the outcome.

  • But if Gore won Florida he would have had their electoral votes and won.

  • Not necessarily and that's my point. Our votes, as the general Public, only make up the Popular Vote. Only 538 of the select "elite" make up the Electoral Vote. The Electoral Vote normally concurs with the Popular Vote but is Not obligated to follow suit. They can vote for whomever they like, even contrary to Popular Votes. And this was what was reported on Election night, well before the issues with FL came up. In the very least, the Electors threw in for Bush before their final counts came in.

  • Retroflow44 i dont know anything about the Electoral vote, how does it work and why does it exist? Im gutted i missed this film last night, it looks factual and funny, like charlie wilsons war.

  • So, are you going to vote this time around? :)

  • I vote every year. I voted in 2000 but I voted independent. I had planed on doing it again this year but I decided to night I am voting Obama. I ask myself why is the republican party opposed to people making over 250,000 a year paying higher taxes than people under? Yes, that money will go to people who need it.Isn't that what we are suppose to do?I don't mind my tax money being used to help people who truly need it. Why would anyone?Lots of people are hurting right now and need help.

  • I agree DarkTruth33,hard to understand why other people think differently to that, but thats what its all about, choice and variety.Personally i dont understand why the democrats aint winning by 90%.But saying that i dont think it really matters, all this campaigning is to grab our attention and keep it away from real issues.Theres always one goal for each country and no matter whose in charge, theyre get there.Surely a democracy would be better if the whole country voted on certain big topics.

  • Well, the U.S. really isn't a Democracy like many people think (it's a Constitutional Republic). We use this term a lot because it's an idealistic model for many. And it sounds like we have more control over our lives, freedoms and Futures this way. It's also just one word and somewhat easier to spell, at that. But the process and mechanisms of what we do have, is where a lot of people fell asleep in class, passed notes, doodled, or whatever. Some learned it later, many don't.

  • the people who voted 4 BUSH.......look what happen to us........You mutherfuckers keep defending BUSH MCCAIN AND THAT DUMB BITCH PALIN............DO ANYBODY CARE EWHATS HAPPENING TO US? DO ANYBODY CARE ABOUT LIFE ON EARTH?.....WE WILL BE COMMITING SUICIDE IF WE VOTE MCCAIN AND THIS MOVIE PROVES IT

  • a lot more things are becoming liberally biased now because more people are seeing how conservatives suck and are incapable of running a country, i.e. president bush... you morons really picked a fucking winner there

  • Who won that election? AL GORE.

  • not enough time? what was the rush that forced the end of recounting? way too many questions for such an important decision. Look at what we got - war - economic disasters - inept leadership - a world that now distrusts America. Sickening corrupt freaks were emplaced.

  • You couldn't have a full statewide manual recount because you would have to to to 67 individual counties (hearings)...there wasn't enough time.

  • Brainwashed fool.

  • thanks for destroying america. A deficit 2x what it was during clinton, plus 2 wars, 1 which is unjustifiable.

What else do we have: Inflation, stagnation, rising unemployment, the middle class are heading into the lower class. Nice job genius , you truly picked a winner (bush) there, LOL!

  • thanks for destroying america. A deficit 2x what it was during clinton, plus 2 wars, 1 which is unjustifiable.

  • Rdnecks are nothing but trouble

  • Check out my video response which catches W. condemning Zimbabwe for the same crime he has profited from: election fraud. He has the nerve to say "What kind of election is it to not let the will of the people be known". THAT IS AN ACTUAL QUOTE FROM KING BUSH II !!! What a chump.

  • Liberal bias at its best right here. Even the New York times admitted Bush still would have won if the Supreme Court hadn't intervened.

  • It depends on whether you just count undervotes, just count overvotes, count neither, or count both.

  • Don't quote out of context. Here is more from that NY Times article you reference: "...if there had been a full, statewide manual recount - as there should have been. The probable answer is that Al Gore would have won, by a tiny margin...if the intentions of the voters hadn't been frustrated by butterfly ballots, felon purges and more; the answer is that Mr. Gore would have won by a much larger margin." If you're going to quote a source, make sure you give the bigger picture.

  • But you forget to preface this by stating how liberally slanted the New York Times editorial board is. Quoting the New York times is not really the greatest objective staetment in the world. How truthful are their statements?

  • this movie is entirely biased and liberal, don't let it tear democrats and republicans apart

  • I wanna see it!!!! Why does cable have to be so damn expensive!? =(

  • ...how is it anti-american?

  • LOL Anti-American YOU'RE FUNNY dude!

  • Check out RecountMovie '.' com for more info about Recount, coming soon to HBO! :)

  • I was an extra for the Texas campaign headquarters and am in the scene!!! Can't believe how good I look for the .0865 second I'm seen. (And I thought I'd have to get my start in porn!)

  • "Does her makeup count as a hurricane?"

This sounds like a great movie and it proves that the truth is stranger than fiction...

  • yes vote ron paul! the man who cannot win a single thing. the man who still is in the race despite it being over! 21 delegates, some revolution. vote for the front runner, barack obama if you want real change

  • "the man who cannot win a single thing."

So winning a congressional seat 10 times isn't a "single thing", I suppose not.. I suppose it would be 10 things..

  • but its a congressional seat....

I can win a congressional seat!

  • Fuck Ron Paul

Barack Obama is the real deal

  • I live where the filming was!!!! I live in Tallahassee FLORIDA!!!! STATE CAPITAL WAAAA!!!! WOO!!!

  • As an extra in the movie I can't wait to see the whole thing. I was a press reporter in the Supreme Court which was built in the hangar of Cecil Field Jacksonville. Good fun participating.

  • Looks like a must-see movie
