  • I love the Harry & Charlotte side of this episode too :)

  • Love this scene. Haven't seen or thought about this show in years, but this scene just popped in my mind today, so I'm glad you uploaded it. thanks.

  • Because Tatum's character knew that Carrie had the same size foot...I think Tatum's character stole those shoes herself.

There's a clue, because they were talking about stealing Billy Joel's firewood. They steal things. She stole those shoes herself.

  • if i was carrie i would have carried around my shoes.especially those pair.

  • screw moody mothers! I would rather be single in a pair of Louboutins then having such a sucky life. Why can't society see that?

  • This is my favorite segment of SATC. Harry walking around naked, driving Charlotte nuts, Carrie sticking it to her "friend," making a statement for single women.

  • we shouldnt have to pay for your extravagant lifestyle...ummm last time i checked my shoes were stolen from your house. lol

  • Even though I AM married, I feel the same way carrie does! I hate the whole "when are you going to get a house or when are you going to have babies?" ggrrrr...

  • @ThereSaSpiderNMySoup I am married and happily childless. I get sick of people assuming I have kids, then when they find out I don't they ask when I will, if I am barren, will I adopt, and all sorts of other really personal questions. Why do people try to make my womb their business?!

I also understand Carrie's statement about 2 c-sections and a lobotomy. I can't have a conversation with them about anything other than their children, even though I am SICK of talking about their children.

  • I always point out the fact that my sister in law is able to spend 300 euros in a pair of UGG boots :P

    Now, some differences are:

    1. She's not my friend, nor has been.

    2. I haven't had a life like hers when I used to be single and childless.

I'm very bitchy, I know. Hormones, baby, married life...

  • This is my favorite episode! :D

  • In my own opinion, I believe being single, or with someone, and not having kids. Live your life how you want, not how other people want you to live it. So many people push me to have kids, but I just feel that I don't have that desire. Call it selfish, but hey its my life, I can be selfish if I want to.

  • @Reichilu listen, if you have money and no one else to spend it on, what else are you going to do? aside from donating it lol. I earned my money. I admit, i wouldn't spend that much on shoes but I bought a bike helmet for 300 bucks. Hey it's my head!

  • There are definitely women who become completely brainwashed by motherhood and project their frustration onto other childless and/or single gals. This is my favorite episode of all time, especially the scene at the shoe store.

  • i have a theory that kara kept them for herself

  • I love this show. An she has a right to buy shoes this expensive. For goodness sakes, woman. She should have locked the shoes away for her guests!

  • does everybody knows in which episode Carrie goes to vogue and see the mary jane manolos?

  • @bomraggabom A vogue Idea - season 4, ep. 17 (:

  • @bomraggabom vogue idea

  • does everybody knows in which episode Carrie goes to vogue and see the mary jane manolos?

  • I love this episode... i have so many friends that judge for buying expensive stuff for myself and taking time off from work if i want to... I hate that i have to explain that i have no kids and my money is for me only......

  • This movie is so great i was worried about adaptation of Sex and the City 2 but i watched it at SATC2Watch(.)tk and im satisfied

  • @Franciscalpwqijxzci Women who seek to be equal to men lack ambition

  • what about carrie paying for her life choices (the reason why she had to take the shoes off)???

  • @xoxballerinagirl Well she went to a birthday party for the woman's kids and she made all her guests take their shoes off and that's why her shoes got stolen. Carrie makes a good point in the end that we spend so much money in gifts for people who get married and have kids because it's socially accceptable...but no one celebrates being successful, happy, and single. Our society believes that a childless, single woman is an unsuccessful woman.

  • @dkmagby88 totally! it's so true...if you spend the money on someone else, it's ok...spend it on yourself and you're extravagant and selfish. LOL...and how about it? A card that says, "Congratulations for not marrying some jerk!"

  • @imajeepster love the card idea LOL

  • I have those shoes......................and they're truly beautiful......................every woman (mother or not, and I am, I have 4 children) deserves a selfish, frivolous treat!!!!

And in that ep.......she was so liable to pay Carrie for them.......HER house....HER guest stle them!!

  • *stole....ooops

  • Yeah, no right whatsoever to judge. It's a lot of money to spend on shoes, but we all have our thing. Carrie's friend is liable, whether the shoes are Manolos or $2 flip flops (although most people wouldn't worry too much about the latter).

  • I am a single mother and if I want a pair of 485.00 shoes its my buisness and that lady had to right to judge her!!!

  • This was one of my fav episodes! I LOVED the end when she went into Manolo's shop and the sales woman ask her to make sure her kids don't touch the shoes! LOL! Classic reward for single women w/o children! I luv, luv, luv that scene -- especial when I didn't have a child at the time this episode aired. lol

  • @regisnyder where can you see that?? i cant find the end??
