Stephanie didn't know what kind of a psycho Andy was because she didn't know him at all, which is EXACTLY the point. Eric and the others were surprised that Stephanie, of all people, would go up to a TOTAL STRANGER and tell him about Brooke's lifestyle, just to make her look bad. Stephanie knows better than that. Maybe she wasn't an accomplish in Brooke's rape, but she was an accomplish for Andy getting into Brooke's house in the first place. The courts would have seen it that way, too.

@Miketayfan Sorry for coming so late, but that's exactly the thing. Stephanie didn't know what kind of monster he was 'cause she didn't even bother to check! She sent a complete stranger into her house, told him everything about her life and even where the keys to her house was. She didn't intend for him to rape her, but if she hadn't met him in the first place and suggested he came on to her it would've never happened.
