  • watch ``Mihov Bojan - bicycle reverse driving``

  • Is there lots of business for bike messengers in Vancouver as I live in Van. and see a few but just wondering if its popular? Also whats a good fixie to ride around town with as I only have my Downhill bike for Whistler and its horrible to ride downtown.

  • @swisscosmo if you like alu: Dolan Pre Cursa. If you like steel: Fuji Track or Classic. If you don't like track geometry then any old road/citybike with horizontal dropouts can be converted into a fixie. You just need a fixed rear wheel with a hub width that matches the frame.

  • swiss cheese helmet

  • Catlike!!!!

  • That bike is horrible.

  • sick helmet!

  • Tide

  • @50calibercharlie it is tide

  • looks like its got too many brakes...

  • look at that big, ugly backpack.

  • Very very Groovy!

  • Ok rookie, now try it no hands one foot.

  • nice break

  • @fixedtrix1 That isn't very nice...and I am fairly sure that you are the one being "dumb" here. Or in other words...one of us is missing something. I said a 56 to 58cm bike would be better for someone 5 foot 10 in. than a 54cm bike and you got something confused.

  • I love your standing XD

  • This is NOT a fixie, it's much less impressive.

  • @orionrecon seems like a fixed gear bike to me

  • what type of bars are those?

  • @srfguy00 seem like nitto rb-021

  • Nice Helmet dude...

  • what helmet is that?

  • Where those cops in the background noise?

  • @willpower101 open air radio homie.

  • @willpower101 dispatcher on open air radio.

  • when I see this guy do a trackstand on a roadbike which im sure he can do then I will know hes the master of balance

  • whats the helmets brand or name ?

  • @spartan7777777 thats a catlike helmet. worn in the tour de france by many riders

  • Wow this guy is good. I've had my bike for four days now and I can do pretty good trackstands (1:30). I need to work on the first out of the box thing he does.

  • master of balance ! fuckin cool

  • tricks are stupid

  • @ZidaneSteiner So Youtube can delete 70% of its videos...

  • @Informatisse 76% of statistics are made up on the spot.

  • Im loving that helmet , what brand is it if you dont mind me asking?

  • @djamac360 It is the Catlike Whisper Plus.

  • @MrBunknasty Hey thanks a lot!

  • @djamac360 its a ''catlike whisper plus''. looks delicious but its just so expensive..

  • @djamac360 i think its a giro one. loook them up. they cost about 160$ or 130 euro

  • Great bike control :D already working on tricks like these, but 3 weeks on a fixie do not really allow "tricking around". A trackstand longer than 15 seconds is already hard. But the time will come :)

    Fixies are unbeatable!

  • @RiddimRider182

Until you hit hills, or really anywhere where fixed gear ratio or inability to coast work against you.

  • @Xormithan nevertheless they completed the first tour de france races on fixies. I agree it's not practical or efficient but it can be done. In a flat city the inability to coast will not work against you. You learn to pseudo coast and relax your legs in other ways.

  • Dave Nourie would be proud!

  • That's a Really nice bike.

  • can you tell me what helmet he is wearing

  • @grossmaul I think it is a Catlike Whisper. I was searching for it too lol

If someone knows otherwise, please let use know.

  • nice

  • he is playing grab ass with his tires.

  • Can some one tell me, why it appears that his chain is not tighten when its supose to since hes on the fixed side?

  • This will be funny af if he falls nd bust his nuts

  • Front brake + Helmet = WIN!!

  • @ffgdsm ur 100% right! some poor freshman got ran over while riding his fixie and died a week later cus no helmet :( he also didnt have any breaks

  • thats not really much of a trick, can u do drop off's on it???

  • iro angus, more like iro anus

  • sickk

  • Good

  • now u have to this off a jump or drop

  • waw, what a great balance

  • thts all rely easy so dont b tht impressed

  • nice skills man! I'd like to see you dancing with your fixie (for exemplle like in video "Awesome Senegalese bike tricks! " you can see on youtube) - it will be sick!!!

  • glad to know my deliverables are on thier way...

  • No wonder my documents were so late.

  • @yakidk89 HAA!

  • Comment removed

  • what kind of bars are those??

  • @Tomistheman some of the best track bullhors i've seen

  • Good to see a fixie rider with a brake and helmet.

  • isnt he supposed to be working...?

  • @marlo916 Heh :) Bike messengers sometimes have a lot of down-time on slow days.

  • @bulletproofcourier every day:)

  • @marlo916 that video was 1:03

  • @grogson that's a quarter mile traveled at 15mph

  • @marlo916 what a slacker!

  • SF!!

  • im 5'8 and i ride a size 52

  • niiicce!!!!

  • for bike frame. go to store and ask and expert. but for wheels mine cost me 500 each

  • hey im 5 ft 3 and im supposed to be 5 10 in like 2 yrs if i follow in my bros path, (im supposed to be taller) what cm bike and can anyone suggest one for me? oh and how much do wheels cost?

  • @Flarg96 Try Googling terms like "bike fitting" and "buy bicycle wheels in [your city]" and you'll find tons of info. Good luck!

  • @Flarg96 um this might bee late but im 5ft 3 and i ride a 48 or 18" inch i believe but its small for me i am planing on on getting a 54 and yes it does fit me with ex room

  • @Flarg96 If you grow 7 inches you will have to get a new bike...period. There isn't a size that will be comfortable at both ends of that spectrum. Get one that is a little big and sell it when you grow out of it.....if ya do. Just cause your bro is 5'10'' doesn't mean you will be. You might stay 5'3'' or be 6'3''. I guess what I am saying is don't buy a bike that is sized for a height that you think you might be because genetics are pretty complicated.

  • @Flarg96 55 cm

  • @Flarg96 for now you should get a 52 cm frame youll grow out of it in two years just by a new frame like a 56 if u are 5 10 or 54 and also there are alot of different wheels u can buy and the rage varies

  • @Flarg96 think you should get a 56 or 57cm frame raise up the saddle should be OK...you can find average wheelsets on ebay for cheap..about 130 most of 700c type

  • @Flarg96 how old r ya, cause i'm like 5'3 and i'm 15 loXD

  • @Flarg96 ok so if youre planning on growing, 54cm, even if you get something thatll fit you slightly smaller when you get that height, you can always upgrade on components, like a stem, or headset, that makes that fitting of the bike perfect for you.. there are many suggestions on how to measure yourself for a bike, but in the end youre the ONLY person who can say what fits better, you can always trade if you grow out of your frame, or simply get tired of it! good luck! (E)quality...

  • @Flarg96 uuuh 50 or so would be ok for u maybe a 52 tops, depending on what wheels you want you could be looking at 200 each for a really nice hub and rim like a velocity i have was 200 fir th back, but i got a lockring with it id check out bikes direct.com they have really great deals on singlespeeds i got my DAWES sst al there for like 400 and it came with some nice alex rims. just learn more about sizing somewhere else on teh interwebz random people on youtube may not be bike geniuses

  • @Flarg96 Get a 53 or a 55cm.

  • @Flarg96 54cm will be perfect :)

  • @fixedtrix1 For someone 5'10", no way. more like 56-58cm.

  • @generalsaam Yea your right but remember: we're talking about centimeters.

  • @fixedtrix1 That is why I said 56-58cm?

  • @generalsaam Dumbo!

  • that pivot, circle shit

    I WANT IT

  • clean sick wit it

  • Fully brakeless is for the track. When you're on the road, you run a brake. When you buy that blazingly fast sports car, it also comes with top of the line brakes. You can go faster when you know you can brake faster.

  • i got a 250 dollar ticket in cali for being brakeless =[

  • FRONT BRAKE!?!?!

  • Yes, a front brake. Read Sheldon Brown's articles and you'll learn that the front brake is the best one to stop with, and read NYC Bike Snob to learn that the best fixie riders use a brake. Brakeless is for the track, brakes are for the road. Learn it, live it.

  • i know how much more effective the front brake is. the only reason i ride a fixie over a normal road bike though is for the rush, there is no sense of danger if you have complete confidence that you can stop quiickly whenever you want.

  • @333JIMB0333 .... play russian roulette then - sounds like your sort of game ... most people I know who ride brakless can stop just as quickly, partly 'cos they ride a lot less aggressivley than I do and partly 'cos they push a much smaller gear... but I don't know any couriers who ride brakless and say they do it 'cos they love the rush of knowing the may not be able to stop in time !!

  • i garuntee that not having brakes does not make me ride less agressivley, you learn to rely more on turning than stopping. as for a low gear...im running 48/16 (54/16 on my old bike)

  • @333JIMB0333 What you say makes sense, and getting a rush is all find and good, but only as long as you're not putting others in danger (either risking harming them or risking them harming you, as hurting someone accidentally can be quite traumatizing in and of itself).

  • thanks for siding with me, but why is everyone so soft? im not gonna hurt anyone on a bike, they will hurt me...i have had a collision with a car that cost $1700. i have also had my leg run over by a suv that led to a 6 month recovery. "Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today." live by that and you'll find life a lot more interesting.

  • @333JIMB0333 I've seen a brakeless fixie plow into pedestrians and cause far more damage to those impacted than himself. Regardless of who was at a fault, a brake could have saved the day.

  • @antiaverage1 Sounds like one of those "Oh Shit! Go! Go! Go!" moments : P

  • what kind of back pack is that ..

looks like a lot of space

  • It's a messenger bag (a real one). Some good companies who make them are Chrome, Bagaboo, and Reload Bags.

  • a brake??? no messengers need a brake

  • @japan010 canandians......

  • Dead wrong (litarally).

  • first video i've seen of fixed ridin in van. sweat

  • lol that helmet is probably worth like 1/3 or 1/4 of his bike

  • And his brain is worth infinitely more than his bike ;)

  • wow keep it rolling

  • Iro Mark V?

do you absolutely love it? i can't decide between that or a steamroller and i dont want something i won't absolutely love.

  • Soma is just as good in that class all made in Taiwan

  • hahaha

    working hard, or hardly working?

  • haha big lie. He have some special thing. Nobody can do that lol!

  • fucking moron

  • yeah he's got skill... quite special

  • fixed gear means u aint got no freewheel. so if you pedal backwards u drive backwards.

  • what is a fixie?:S

  • rear wheel is directly connected to pedals... pedals don't spin, wheel doesn't spin

  • how do you lock your pedals when you try to skid???

  • dude stop fucking asking that question in every video on youtube. go out and try it yourself

  • i wish i could just trackstand :(

  • its easy its all about balance

  • Haha I'm getting a fixie now.

  • You seem to have a lot of standby time in Vancouver...

  • Yes, c'est la guerre, c'est l'economy ah zut!

  • well when is standby time?

    =p good job too!

  • nice! i'll just call it threading the needle cause i'm not exactly sure but where you had your legs through the frame, that was good work!

  • Nice job Neil!
