Here's another sad reality of war. That evil exists and wants to dominate the world. It usually seeks to exterminate a race of people. Then, it is time for everyman to stand against it. Another sad reality, that today's generation, raised in peacetime and educated by utopian idealists, no longer recognize what it takes to be free, remain free. They don't understand sacrifice, honor, or duty.
War is needed. It is sad, but it cannot be stopped. Others will always be violent and attack us, or we will attack others. If only it could not be this way. Wanting to kill is not the reason for war, it is the fact that you believe so much in your views you are willing to die for it, so others may live in the peace that was created through this war. If only there were other ways to stop violence of our enemies. I will honor the Axis fighters, not their corrupt leaders. They died for their cause.
My roommate and I almost got into a physical fight because our opinions on war. My side was that I hated war. Now before you troll on my comment, hear what I have to say. There are, and I know some, people who join the army for the sole purpose of wanting to kill people. Serving for their country and getting paid for it is just a bonus. However, there are good people who are "forced" to join the army that unfortunately get killed by these evil people.

There was something sad i saw on Facebook that I really appreciated is that when Whitney Huston died, the world went into mourning. Her home state even flew the flag half staff! But navy seal, medal of honor receiver, Lt. Micheal Murray died for his squad and was completely forgotten.
I went to Omaha Beach after watching the video for years. I walked through those white crosses. And I was crying when I found that I'm even older than these young kidsT_T
People should salute people of all sides. Allies or Axis, Friend or Foe. These poor men weren't necessarily evil, they just did a duty for their country, and died for it. They went to wars that they themselves didn't make. This is the sad reality of war: you never got to know the man on the other end of your rifle, and they never knew you. During the cold war Soviet Union invaded afganistan and killed around 11 million people in Afganistan. The reason why is that America came to Afgan and gave them military equipment, techniques etc. Later Soviet union left it saying afgan isn't worth afgan was happy they celebrated but America has fed Afgan so much that afgan realizes that America was the monster. He killed around 500 Japanese in blind rage. Next, he went to Saipan, where he lost 2 more friends. In his final fight at Iwo Jima, he was shot right below his lung. His last friend tried to help him, but he was shot on his way to him. My grandpa wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for a Japanese medic who saved him and

Go ask a vet from the middle east and they will tell you that every life lost over there is honored. Just a fact for you, WE BURRY OUR DEAD! As for every life lost in war. If we diddent give a shit about soldeirs in war then we woukdent take the time to do that.

@PulseOfTheAwakening Some people are unable to see multiple paths and react with violence, such as the people on here who reacted to you with guns pointed and accusations. What you did on here proved exactly your point, wars start this way because someone questions something that people can only see in one direction. I believe everyone should take a good look into the past and read up on information that hasn't been manipulated by those with power, and people will see truth.

Thank you for your opinion, i'm glad i'm not one of the few who sees it the right way, you're right about that some people are unable to see miltiple paths, and the worst thing is that they will never change and because of that humanity will never change, but i gave hope up a while ago for trying to see us as a race, there are only individuals, some are good and have a strong sense of justice and others are bad and think of money and stuff like that all the time.

You are saying that something cannot change and because of that reason you will accept whatever your superiors tell you without question. It's obvious that if someone with large influence on their country could convince many people to "fight the good fight" but I don't remember seeing anyone's country invaded? Well apart from Iraq, who would protect their country just as you would yours.
