Anyone having problems with the massive cant open ksd files i have a solution!

Just change the .ksd to .nsmv

For anyone having troubles with the .ksd files, it really doesn't matter too much. Use a different preset and make your own sound. It's what you're going to need to do inevitably as a music producer, why not start now.

For those who have opening errors even with the "help" of these comments and STILL not working, you MUS MUSSSTTTT NOT OPEN MASSIVE with Abelton. Open Massive as a normal program( Meaning open massive without using Abelton, open massive with the shortcut) .If done correctly the "file" button will be there, then use the batch convert button and convert, reopen massive in Abelton and BAM! Figured that shit out>:D

For those with opening errors. You have newer version of Massive, but not a problem, as it still supports KSD files. Click Import KSD instead of Open Sound.

Okay so I after I came up with a few sounds i wrote out a melody in a midi track and when i hit play it didn't sound the same. The audio was really short and cutoff before you could hear anything. Can you possible help?

Try this open ableton choose plug in and hit the activate button( if you havnt already,if you have go to options(above) preferences then file folder. ) next to VST Plug-in custom folder choose browse then COMPUTER>LOCAL DISK>PROGRAM FILES>NATIVE INSTRUMENTS>VST PLUG-INS 64 or 32bit then hit okay massive should appear on the left corner,double click and massive should boot up.HOPE THIS HELPSSS! =D

@spiderduck29 had the same problem, what i did was click on Global and change the preset bpm by pressing the extern sync button and move it to the bpm on fl studio or whatever you use. hope this helps

you have to open massive regularly convert the ksd files to nmsv files then you can use them in Ableton. Massive changed their sound files so now you must have a nmsv file

To all of the guys having problems with .ksd the situation is that apperantly they updated and u need to convert it using massive as a seperate program in ur comp where u can acces the file tab in it and change it from .ksd to .nmsv and thats the whole trick to it. hope it helped

Bellus Blingus is the same thing as Baby Bells, like LucaPRO said, but where do you find Bellus Blingus?

in Massive, on the top right corner, u will see View, and under it: Synth, Attributies and Browser. Click on Browser. U will see a new layout, in the bottom part there r 4 + 1 charts. Chose "Massive Factory" on the 1st one (the leftest one), and find Bellus Blingus in the 5th one (the rightest one), double click on it to select it.

Now u can go back to Synth and make some sound

@InsanityGVlog u have to go into ableton and click on the plug in icon and if theres nothing there, there should be a button there that says enable plugins or something along those lines. click on it and at the bottom where it says vst's- off turn that on and it might work if it isnt a vst turn on the button above the one for the vst. hope that helped :D
