  • You should use Pearl Harbour Soy Sauce, its the best

  • Ew beef ribs

  • jack i really love watching your show, but could you please just take the extra time to cut your own garlic and/or onions it's sooo much better!!! i've seen you do it once or twice in your newer videos.. but please!!

  • Not to be pretentious, but shouldn't you have used teriyaki sause instead of soy?

  • god i love the way you say garlic

  • "mmmmmmmm....meeaat.

  • I'm very sorry about your mom. God bless you. I know she is very proud of you.

  • The ribs look wonderful and I appreciate the video.............HOWEVER, is that pan with the cooked ribs the same as the one with the raw ribs?????? Please tell us that you washed that pan, and/or sanitized it by boiling water in it.

  • Yo mama is..... AWESOME

  • What kind of soy sauce you use for the ribs? sweet or salt?

  • you should get a youtube partnership

  • Sorry bout ur mom dude this is the only video i wrote on cous I'm on my iPod

  • hey jack I really like that you trimmed down the intros. It used to bug me having to skip past all the unimportant stuff. Keep up the good work!

  • i cant wait to get ribs and trry this outt!!

  • do you put the whole pot on the grill ?could you do that in the oven?

  • Could I marinate the meat longer than 40 minutes? or even overnight? thanks great videos man keep it up

  • Jack, just want to say thank you for your Moms Teriyaki Short Rib recipe. They came out great. Should have took pics when they came off the Q' but was toooo slow. They were devoured before the sides were brought out. I'm using her marinade on pork chops tonight. Thanks for the recipe. Keep'em coming !

  • HI Jack what can I do instead of grilling because i dont have a grill or bbq... i know right??

  • @lilaznboy90 most ovens also have a grill. Or use top and bottom heat, i always make my ribs with top & bottom heat, they turn out awesome. I prefer low heat for a really long time, so they are almost like BBQed instead of grilled, they fall of the bone.

  • @djteac thnx jack i hope i have the time to make it

  • If we used the pot method, are we supposed to shake it for 40 minutes?

  • @Im4eversmart2 LOL. Shake every 10 minutes for 40 minutes.

  • @jakatak69 LMAO!!!

  • I cant get enough of your voice...cmon you got the best voice i know outside of germany xD

  • Why are do so damn amazing!? Thanks for the recipe!

  • Damn. This is torture...

  • dear jack i am disabled and live in holland can you show me some easy ways to make a meal without standing too long(i have prostatic legs so it hurts like hell after 10-30 mins)

  • @legs0fsteel I'm not Jack, but i hope its okay if i also answer. If watched your video where you showed your room and everything. First let me say, seeing people who are disabled having such a great spirit is an inspiration man.I subbed

You should check out his lazy man recipes. They are easy and fast to make. And they taste really good

Is the Microwave the only thing you got to heat food? There are some good microwave recipe books.

Greetings from Germany to our friendly neighbors.

  • @djteac thanks for the comment man i will definetly check out the lazy mans recipe unfortunetly sinsce due to my disabillty i cannot operate a fire extinquisher im not alowed to have anything that uses fire and an actual oven just dosnt fit i will try to get my hands on a microwave recipe book greeting back neighbor

  • @legs0fsteel LOL

  • @jakatak69 why the LOL?

  • @legs0fsteel thats unfortunate. But in the video i saw that the space is limited in your room. Would be allowed to have a "mini oven" ? You know those ones smaller than a microwave using Quartz heating rods? I don't know what they are called in english lol.

They are safe to use (well as save as an oven gets) and get really hot really fast. If you experiment with those, you can make fried eggs, schnitzel, even steak in there. Also Pizza, and they are really cheap. I got one and i love it :)

  • @legs0fsteel I would bring a dinning room chair into the kitchen and a TV tray to do all your work. My mom was in a wheelchair for years and this is what i did for her. It worked real well.

  • When are you going to invite your twin brother to do a show with you? I love the intro he did with you!

  • @SeeMeEat he's okay. He always eats too much, though. :D

  • @jakatak69 wait you dont actually have a twin brother do you, i always figured that was just some simple video editing

  • JACK! who eats all the FOOOOOOD u cook on the show??

  • @19961125 we usually eat it for dinner. If it's a dessert we usually give to friends. We don't eat a lot of sweets in our house.

  • use large Ziploc bags they work awesome for marinating in

  • @drummerlars yes they do. I just did the pot method because that was how my mom would have done it. :D

  • Jack can u bake it instead of grilling it. Cause i live in a apartment that doesnt have a backyard so i cant really grill. Love your videos!

  • @SpArTaN69Fuck yes. baking rocks. don't worry. just bake until the meat pulls back from the edge of the bone a little like in the video.

  • My condolences Jack.

    Another great video!

  • @JoeyJoeJoe5000 thank you so much.

  • man i just love watching your videos

  • I don't like cutting into my meat... Juices solidifing... Dirty mind much? XD

  • @bandit5296 ALL THE TIME!

  • I could never watch this show.. it's makes me sooo hungry. Lol.

  • <3 JACKK

  • he tore that rib up,like it was going out of style

  • 6:13- HAPPY JACK : D

  • @runescapey0y0y0 RUFF!

  • @kboi0 Pho is coming in 2 weeks. :D Thanks for the supportive words.

  • I really like watching your videos i just think you need to do more videos once a week just ant cutting it =) But keep up the good work.

  • @spyeagle00

I agree but at the same time Jack has to manage his sauce business and edit the videos which is quite a lot of work. :)

  • @azntranc3951 I would love to do more. I have a second channel called Jack on the Go which also take time to produce. Sauce biz, filming and broadcasting my church service, son's football practice, watching Glee. Lots to do. LOL

  • @jakatak69

D'OH ! How could I have forgotten about the Jack On The Go channel. I'm even a subscriber.

    =/

  • thanks jack,. can you make episode of cooking with your friends

  • ommffgg im soo jelouse. i cant eat red meat cause i get sick if i do :c

  • @QueenofPancakes5260 try this on chicken.

  • Those look yummy! Glad to see your okay! Had a couple questions for ya... Have you ever tried to make mufungo? I heard it's wonderful. Also yakisoba yummy. Also my favorite food ever is a hamburger if your not making your own where is your favorite burger place? Sorry so many questions but your like the Yoda of cooking lol! Stay strong your mom is grinning ear to ear watching what a wonderful person she raised! Hugs Angela

  • @Angelar79 thanks for the kind words. I have not every made those dishes. My favorite burger place is Slaters 50/50 in Anaheim Hills, CA

  • i like you lol. you inspire me to be an awesome youtuber like you. big fan big fan :)

  • NOT GARLIC IN A JAR!!!!!

  • i cant stand kikkoman i prefer maggie soy sauce

  • ur mom sounds like a rockin woman

  • I think those tongs are a bit excessive >.>

  • @Standard420247 not for the BBQ. I have a five burner natural gas BBQ and it lets me reach without getting burned.

  • why do you hate kikkoman?

  • @boogster123321 taste bitter

  • @jakatak69 ive found the low sodium one gets rid of the bitter taste but keeps the soy flavor

  • I never use onions and sugar,I use honey and ginger.Sometimes I will use palm sugar.

  • Sorry about your mom

  • Hey Jack, props to your moms for knowing how to put tasty food on the table. I gotta try this with pork ribs!

The best soy sauce I've tasted is Kimlan soy sauce from Taiwan. It IS far less salty per Tablespoon than Kikkoman, with more complex flavor. You can get it anywhere, but it does cost a bit more than Kikkoman or others. I think it's worth it!

I haven't bought Kikkoman in years. To me, it tastes "one dimensional with a lot of salt".

  • Do you think one could use this marinade to make teriyaki chicken?

  • @DeltaSquadFilms11 Yes. this works with chicken. it will be amazing.

  • @jakatak69 Thank you, I will have to try this soon then, spread it over some brown rice with some vegi stir fry on the side.

  • have you thought of applying for masterchef? lol would be cool to see you on tv next year if u did =D

  • what are your restraunt hours :D

  • Jack I'm sure your mom will be proud of you

  • Its all gravy Jack! :) We're here for ya

  • i agree with jack, the last time my family got kikkomans it smelt like beer, no one in my house would even use it.

  • how do your ribs you choose in the shop/marinate/cook compare to ones from a decent chain restaurants?

  • @hughesa827 these are so fresh and taste way better off the grill then out of a restaurant. there is no comparison. You love these. they are so easy.

  • these vids deserve 4D so we can smell it!!!!!

  • @ifba100 Please no 4D!!! Then I'd get hungry all the time =(

  • you are awesome! <3

  • god those ribs look jizzworthy

  • Awesome as always Jack!

  • great video! <3

  • Sad to hear that your mum left us =(

It's a great recipe and a great video.

  • can i cook in the stove?

  • @jamesblim168 yes. you can bake or broil the ribs.

  • My brother-in-law just got from his first tour in Afghanistan and I know what I am making for his welcome party. :D

  • Can you cook a meal for me . I'll pay you anything . ANYTHING !

  • Jack, i LOVED THE SERIES! But just out of curiosity when are you going to make PHO? i want to try making it before i go to college as it is my FAVORITE FOOD! i tried before but the broth that i made had no taste to it :/

  • @mrlemonhead54 2 weeks away.

  • @jakatak69 Jack, if your deciding to make Pho I can ask my mom for her recipe. Trust me it's really good! My mom learned the recipe from her mom in Vietnam, and the recipe for it isn't cheap.

  • everyone should favorite this so jack can go on the front page and his mom will be happy from above

  • by La Choy and Kikkoman's, you mean Soy Sauce right?

  • @CityRuler1 yes. I will clarify. thanks.

  • @jakatak69 Jack, why can't you stand Kikkoman brand?

  • you killing me i love meat i wont it

  • Love it man!!

  • that does look amazing! usually if I make a marinade I pop in a bit of chilli and red wine as well. works great for chicken :D

  • That looks delicious, Jack. Good timing too! This is Labor Day weekend, and ribs are on sale at the supermarkets.

  • So this is the big secret recipe? lol nothing special

  • I've been waiting for this episode all day :D

  • @cartilige try it on steak. it rocks.

  • @jakatak69 Not much of a steak person either, I like my meat well done which with steak usually ends up burnt on the outside to get it cooked through.

  • @cartilige Try it on chicken, too. it will be awesome.

  • @jakatak69 That I shall, that I shall

  • Now iam hungry *_*
