@omgitzkane when you clicked on the (Derive from product) a window pop up... it does happen to me..

do you know why?

@CraziTBear well...i did this when creating was still done with the previewer. now there is a create mode on the client, so if you dont have it open, IMVU will open after you click on the derive button. if you have IMVU open, the create and edit tabs pop up.

@sallysal1987 to make a haircut, you must use a 3d program to make what is called a mesh. 3ds max is the program usually used, but i think you may be able to do this with blender, which is free

hey just here to help you..... you have to put more into your hair designs... not saying you do bad but that you have the potential to do alot better. I can see from this video you know your way around so just put some more detail. Like instead of just adding lines you can add some blur to the lines so it looks more realistic. I hope u take this constructive and not take it personal because it's not. I am actually pretty new at the hair

@Jessikah609 wow i just saw this comment....thanks for the tips, i might just try that. you can always play around with the settings or techniques. i was just showing one way to do this, and when i made this video, there were no other tutorials (that i saw anyways) using GIMP to make IMVU hair.

@Kiwi9326 to make icons, check in the education center on IMVU for more details on how to do this. but you can get pics from the previewer or before you publish in the client.

With the new layer, is it transparent? :| I wasn't paying attention to that until I had to retry it a second time... and I tried it with the other ones didn't work right... and tranparent doesn't work with .jpeg (Thats what it said anyways...)
