@zwady defeat the lost. I must say, without it I definitely couldn't have done it. Right now I just have Demigod and the White Conqueror to do. See what the White Conqueror can do to me. I've played this on the 360 already, and found everything easy, including the White Conqueror.

@zwady hm heard a lot about xenogears for PS1 but never had the chance to play it, but im currently playng xenosaga in the ps2 emulator ,i heard the both games arent connected to each other but were made by same producers,and its awesome,only rpg that has a story that can challenge FF games story
@grahuha Yeah. The story is absolutely amazing in Xenogears. I think they are all connected in someway, all the games with 'Xeno' in them. Pretty much all cover a time-span of 10000 years. I definitely recommend Xenogears. It's a game where you love every single character, and it's the characters that really keep you hooked to the game! Great battle system. Quite different to what you'll be used to. Unfortunately the producers didn't manage to finish the game. Was supposed to be 4 disks..only 2
@zwady i got to say: I can approve to you that, if you know what you are doing, it is indeed possible to run Nest of eagles on BR3. I have done it myself. Bai Ze on BR4 is a little hard, but i have seen it be done live at a friend's, and i can assure you: He did not hack. Yea Cachexia kind of breaks the game. It is possible to do without it, but having it breaks it and makes the lost/fallen/demigod so mcuh easier.
@Yuizele you've seen nest of eagles and bai ze done on the first playthru on BR3 and 4 respectively? Ive finished my hard mode now and yeah I did it on hard mode really easily! But if you/ your friend did it on the first play through, then I am impressed! :D Hard mode aka my 2nd play through was dead easy as I managed to customise loads of AP + 35% charms, and with that could use Gae Bolg quite easily. Managed to finish the enlightened seven on BR 39 - which I'm proud of! :D
@zwady now u made me remember of my messed up save file, i was battle rank 110 with wasted stats due to high amount of low mob rampage with no stat increase, and even so , i went and tried beating the fallen with crapy gear and crapy skils , no cachexia at all ,it took MORE THAN A MONTH of tries, about 300+ tries, but in the end i defeated it by some miracle, miracle does happens,but that was crazy,hardest fight i ever had in video games,

PS: in order to beat the enlightened seven at low BR, cachexia is a MUST,
other thing : in hard mode,you cant survive against enlightened ludope's galaxy if you get full hit by it even if you have high morale,but if you have high morale in that point there will be high chance of bloking/evading some hits of the galaxy spell
....fought the enlightened seven,cuz i wanted to recruit them at low battle rank so baddly to take advantage of being able to do stat boost em a lot in ancient ruins at low BR,they are the strongest recruitable characters of the whole game ( the strongest starting stats/starting skills) , my mr.young did 235k damage in ancient ruins with no weapon upgrade at all,and that was just against 1 enemy,his skills is like omnislash,it does 1 hit per enemy.....
man I've just fought the enlightened seven on my first playthru in the PC version on normal (obviously) I GOT ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED! First attack - Lugh's Revenge - 14000. Next union comes along Lugh's Revenge - 13000. Next union comes along - Phantom Pain - union cursed. Oh, is that enlightened milton? Lugh's Revenge - 13000. Iron will - another union bites the dust, one by one. I actually managed to defeat them after 20 minutes. Zuido and Ludope join the battle. Galaxy III - GAME OVER!! ;-(
@zwady in that battle , ludope's galaxy is fucking hard to survive against,if it completely hits you,i mean if no dodge/evade,it will rape you completely , solution? your best bet is to use orphic ward or soul shield (mystic eater,absorbs spell damage and convert to heal) just before you beat enlightened miltion/enlightened snievan,to protect yourself from the upcoming galaxy damage when ludope joins the battle
@zwady *continuing* because theres no way to survive against galaxy in that fight it if it hits you completely,its 100% KO chance if no evade/dodge/orphic ward/soul shield
@grahuha yeah i agree with you about the whole orphic ward thingy :D I carried on, did some extra missions etc...somehow managed to do the lost...i thought SURELY NOW I can defeat the seven!! Used 4 unions, three of which had 9999 HP. That battle after snievan and milton is just to keep your morale high. If you can get it to max, everyone else's attacks are so much weaker. Initially ludope's galaxy killed me coz i had low morale and not maxed out HP. The rest of the seven after that were dead...
@grahuha ...easy. Young died in 3 turns. Got one of the twins into their reds in the first turn they came. I think if half my characters didn't have morale-up moves, there's noway i could do it. And of course, with heightened morale = remnant + weapon arts :D Duke of Ghor's remnant art taking 200000 :D Thanks for the tips. Practically all the battle, I had 2 unions attacking, 2 with recover your health + standing back. Thats definitely the way! :D Did it on BR 95
@grahuha Additionally I think it helps to be really picky with what moves you allow each unit to have. The PC version is ace for that. I kept all but my best/most useful moves :D Thats also how I beat the lost, as each and every union's moves are sooooo important! 700000 HP in 5 rounds is tough!
@zwady nice ,i beat the enlightened seven in hard mode at battle rank 62 ,but it was obviously not my first playthrough,in my other playthroughs i wasted too much battle ranks by killing weak enemies and having no stat boost by doing that,but in the last one i skipped all weak enemies (i.e normal low level mobs) and only fought bosses mosly ,the new game+ helped in that by letting me carry some millions money and materials to the next plathrhough,and then i did a low BR game until i ......
Aaaaaah memories... Memories of past videos, memories of getting the crap beat out of me by Ludope's mystic arts, memories of killing Young the first try... Memories of getting killed by the cyclops every single time. This game is amazing.
the only thing bad about this game... are the cut scenes... they could've worked on better animations if it wasnt for that i'd give this game 8.8/10. very addicting
I didn't have to train for boss fights before. ...Now, I have to. Or should I say, must. Got pwned by Ludope. : / Well, I guess it's a good thing thats my first game-over... I think. x3
Seriously the longest fights were these (at least storyline wise) 45 min to an hour and that's I didn't die. I once for got to save in between and well let's just say that I didn't pick up the controller the next day. I did the day after though!
@TGamersFB You're only half right. The game was awesome, an actual game that has a challenge to it and learning curve. It doesn't hold your hand through the game like most games now a days. It did have slow down and even got to the point of it being a slide show on my Xbox, but I still love the game. Still haven't beaten it though, got through the six bases but now i'm stuck on the final inner base >.< Hard game is hard.
If you don't have weapon arts you'll find it hard as fuck to beat an Observer. Also you wont be beating The Lost, Demigod or The Fallen without weapon arts.

@agentfjols LoL... I know what to do i have 1000/1000 for the game. yeah in the end i was beasting observer before it even goes into overdrive, but you can't tell me there wasn't a time when it didn't rape you silly.
Put it this way, they are all easy if you've grinded the right characters and have good enough stats, arts etc...

These guys can be pretty tough if you're going in with a high BR. I like a challenge so I got my BR and skills as high as possible and went in. Ludope and Young gave me the biggest problems out of all of them. Suprisingly milton was the easiest and hes supposed to be their leader lol.
ludope is sooo unfair with his constant cursing, and not to mention galaxy, and young with his aoe brawl, both of them are so OPed x_x probably the most hated bosses in TLR ;D one good thing to do against young, ive found, is either let a summon tank him, or use 1 union to tank, and keep the others away or on standby, and when he kills them with brawl, have 1 union revive and send a diff union to tank, then repeat till he's dead, if u have 4k hp u can possibly survive it
@nadi0idan Young is easy imo. Ludope... not so easy, definitly second hardest of the seven. Hannah and Hinnah are the ones that get me, as what tended to happen was they would start with twin snowpetal, and then a magic group would caustic blast for 3 union KO's. 1 union again 6 doesn't end well >_>
@dogkealthalas The hardest id say was either ludope or milton, only hard thing about ludope was how often he uses maledict, and how often it ended up botching all my unions x_x i had an easy time on hinnah and hannah actually, i deadlocked them both after killing their unions, and hinnah didnt use seduction and hannah never used second chance, and for the bases have 4 unions with 3-4k hp is usually enough, have a few units with Permafrost V and Caustic blast V
@dogkealthalas young too dam easy and ludope easy too if you know how to kill him the right way hannah hinnah easy too if you know what to do then yes first young be sure to have your team full heal kill hes mage faggs and hes warrior and kill him ludope dont attack him he will kill you faster then you know it hannah hinnah first turn set your men on heal not the best but its the only way to win or you can train in the place there you can train whitout getting you BR too high trust me ^^
@Sork94 i think the worst is young he keep doing that brawl and it kills you fast but ludope easy just dont attack him befor all hes men is dead and make sure you men is strong or he will blow your ass off
I haven't heard instrumentalism as intense as this for any other video game. Unless there is a super robotic player, the drums are programmed, but everyone else is playing the HELL outta their instruments. Easily the best OST for any game I've heard so far.
@yellowmegavidz not necesarily are the drums programmed. I know a grip of drummers that I have jammed out with in previous bands that pull this style easily.
To tell the truth, Young isn't that special. I've killed him today and with his special ability he didn't kill me. Maybe he left me in red status, but he didn't kill me. Let's see what Milton can do against me! >=D by the way, in the 6 bases I was clasification 80, and I've equiped Rush with a Spear and his unit had more than 6500 hp, maybe that has something to do with all that n_nU
@ch4zzyklon that might have something to do with it. Just don't multi deadlock Young and you're fine. His Brawl attack hits in a linear path, so the union hes targetting, and any behind them are going to be hit. I just had my healer union constantly on "Hurry and heal yourself!" so they'd heal anyone that needed it. I had a full on assault union, and 2 backups. 1 backup and assault at a time. When either died, I'd send in the other, so it was always 2 on 1. Worked like a charm.
I wonder... How epic would the music be if Nobuo Uematsu and the two who made this games musics (Tsuyohsi Sekito and Yasuhiro Yamanaka according to descriprion) worked together for some games soundtrack.
I find it scary how you people can stand the unending cheesyness of the english VAs. I switched to the japanese voice setting soon after I got into the game.
@linkbattler heh how damn right. I can not imagine how hard they would be on a lowest Battlerank possible. I tried to do such a challenge on PC, not posible to finish because of the fact, that bosses are generally 3-4x as strong on the pc version. Can't pass Jager and his Remnant Lob-omen. I even have videos from this challenge =)
This battle theme is probably one of my favorite of all time. The Last Remnant, Mass Effect and Chrono Cross/Trigger, in my opinion has the best soundtrack of all time.
Also, the best character inthe game is Dave. His 80 AP Gae Bolg attack is the best move by far. Keep him in a union with 5 guys and you get to use it more often.
When morale is high it will kill everyone on screen with just 1 attack. The only thing thats almost is good is Pagus Galaxy move, which is also ridiculously good and hits all enemies, so Pagus should be the leader of a 5 person union.
Twin Snowpetel by hinnah/hannah should be more reliable because its a sure cast on your first turn.. but u only get those 2 very late in the game which is sad
Hannah and Hinnah were bitches for me. Their unions casted blackout not once, not twice but THREE times. You know how annoying that is? I only got lucky because one of their unions decided to heal instead of finishing me off. After reviving Pagus, he blew the everlasting fuck out of them with his own.
@Sefearion Iunno if its diff on PC, but on xbox his brawl ive survived with around 100-200hp even with no moral, so its survivable, just have a good leader (Dave, Caedmon, or Torgal, but Caedmon is way better since he has remedies and is insane on physical atk and def) and decent union hp use support constantly too, it helps (under 3.5k hp you wont survive most likely)
This is my favorite song. It definitely made the bases more exciting with this song. I was like Battle Rank 70 when I beat my first 2 bases which was Base 3 & then 2. Other 4 were to hard. Trained to BR 79, beat 3 more which was the Base 1, Base 6, & then Base 5. Trained to BR 84. Beat the last base which was the hardest for me. Hinnah & Hannah. I raped it at BR 84. I was able to kill Hinnah & Hannah at the same time. I lost against Cyclops the first time, but I beat him the second time.
Let me tell you right now, Darien is unbelievably strong. I mean very, very strong. He has some small pitchfork like weapon with over 160 atk. All the other stats are above 50-60. A regular attack does over 10k dmg with the morale half way on my side.
And one more crazy thing. I had a party of only two people. Rush & Irina. The parties stats are way up there and they take very little dmg thanks to Rush's great defense. Well, my Rush has great defense. Irina has amazing healing abilities too.
@ZerianaZ I actually got into a battle with him and he never used Galaxy II once in the entire match and I still almost lost because of his AoE spamming >.<
@Killa1949 ludope's galaxy requires him to be raidlocked in order to use it,so if u leave him alone in the first turns and let him come for you, instead of u coming to him,he will never use it
just finished the base battles, so proud of myself XD to me i found young being the hardest ( i tried like 7 times) then what i did was get 4 unions fill out the first three with the best (rush, david, caedomn, torgal emmy etc) then fill out the last union with irina and two random soldier healers it works well and u just keep two on standby and two killing i put davids on standby while rush killed and so did caedomn :) works well, try it if u have a hard time with the base battles! good luck X
what i think is a bit sick coz if u say I lvl up to lvl 20 they are normal and when i go to lvl 30 they get harder so if im lvl 90 they will get as strong as me so whats the poing in leveling
god i can't beat Hinnah and Hannah and Lodupe they do those AoE attacks like Gae Bolg which hurts my whole unions and then the rest of theyr army kicks my ass
Just wipe out the rest of their unions before attacking the main boss(es).
But with Hinnah and Hannah , you should wipe out their army as usuall, then focus on Hinnah (the silver haired one) but have at least one union attack Hannah or she will use second chance and heal Hinnah for 65000 HP!!!!!
If you take out Hannah first, (the brown haired one and the one with second chance.) then Hinnah will use overdrive (remember from eagles nest? It lets them attack 4 times in one turn)
taking hannah first is a must, hinnah will use overdrive but you can take it specially if you got a healing union with vivification herb on revitalize, milton is far worse than that, he uses iron will, letting him attack 5 times per turn(aka all your units), and his attacks can deal OHKO, so..not freaking funny
I love this tune! I have to say I didn't really have much trouble with the base bosses with the exception of Hinnah and Hannah. Personally I'm having huge amounts of trouble beating The Fallen. =P
tell me about it, the "lost/last war" sidequest was the first insane side-boss quest, that freaking dragon with vulcanbreath hurted...alot(along with plants with poison gas and bird with -morale attack)
This song is perfect for fighting against your doppleganger or evil counterpart who possesses all of your negative traits, giving it a feel of a nightmare, where your enemy is at an extreme advantage, while some bits within the music suggesting you at least stand a chance.
YOU HAVE 3-4 UNIONS, THEY HAVE 7 INCLUDING A BOSS, PLUS THE BOSSES AHVE AN ATTACK THAT COMPLETELY WIPES OUT 1 UNION.

Seriosuly, all boss fights in all games are supposed to chalange you and test you to the best of your gaming abbilities, but the onse in The Last Remnant were fucking insane!!!
this game is not supposed to let you go all-out to attack like most others rpgs, you gotta have at least 1 union healing, some cases even 2, while you kill the smaller unions before the boss :P, even after only the boss is left you might want to leave a union on healing full time(take milton for example, fuckin iron will + OHKO attacks)
Thanks for the advice, because after making 3 unions, 1 atttacking union, 1 healing, and 1 all rounder, i maneged to beat Snievian (base 1), Zuido (base 2), and Young (base 5)
Its better to create one attacking union (good strengh, maby defence) one healing union (good healing artes) and one all rounder union with som healing artes!

Seriously the longest fights were these (at least storyline wise) 45 min to an hour and that's I didn't die. I once for got to save in between and well let's just say that I didn't pick up the controller the next day. I did the day after though!

The only one I had trouble with was Young and his fucking Brawl D:<.
Ludope's minions were harder then him.
Zuido and Snievan were easy.
Hinnah was kind of hard because she could enthrall your unions when Hannah dies.
Milton just used iron will once and I had a special art lined up so all his attacks missed :D
I got blackout with Rush and Dave's unoins at the beginning of every base fight so the minions were gone immediately :D

This track + the 7 cool bosses = epic fights
The game's soundtrack is ridiculously amazing, and this particular track gave me this heroic feeling and really made me enjoy those boss fights :D

@TGamersFB You're only half right. The game was awesome, an actual game that has a challenge to it and learning curve. It doesn't hold your hand through the game like most games now a days. It did have slow down and even got to the point of it being a slide show on my Xbox, but I still love the game. Still haven't beaten it though, got through the six bases but now i'm stuck on the final inner base >.< Hard game is hard.

If you don't have weapon arts you'll find it hard as fuck to beat an Observer. Also you wont be beating The Lost, Demigod or The Fallen without weapon arts.

@agentfjols LoL... I know what to do i have 1000/1000 for the game. yeah in the end i was beasting observer before it even goes into overdrive, but you can't tell me there wasn't a time when it didn't rape you silly.
Put it this way, they are all easy if you've grinded the right characters and have good enough stats, arts etc...

These guys can be pretty tough if you're going in with a high BR. I like a challenge so I got my BR and skills as high as possible and went in. Ludope and Young gave me the biggest problems out of all of them. Suprisingly milton was the easiest and hes supposed to be their leader lol.

ludope is sooo unfair with his constant cursing, and not to mention galaxy, and young with his aoe brawl, both of them are so OPed x_x probably the most hated bosses in TLR ;D one good thing to do against young, ive found, is either let a summon tank him, or use 1 union to tank, and keep the others away or on standby, and when he kills them with brawl, have 1 union revive and send a diff union to tank, then repeat till he's dead, if u have 4k hp u can possibly survive it

Hannah and Hinnah are the ones that get me, as what tended to happen was they would start with twin snowpetal, and then a magic group would caustic blast for 3 union KO's. 1 union again 6 doesn't end well >_>

@dogkealthalas The hardest id say was either ludope or milton, only hard thing about ludope was how often he uses maledict, and how often it ended up botching all my unions x_x i had an easy time on hinnah and hannah actually, i deadlocked them both after killing their unions, and hinnah didnt use seduction and hannah never used second chance, and for the bases have 4 unions with 3-4k hp is usually enough, have a few units with Permafrost V and Caustic blast V

@dogkealthalas young too dam easy and ludope easy too if you know how to kill him the right way hannah hinnah easy too if you know what to do then yes first young be sure to have your team full heal kill hes mage faggs and hes warrior and kill him ludope dont attack him he will kill you faster then you know it hannah hinnah first turn set your men on heal not the best but its the only way to win or you can train in the place there you can train whitout getting you BR too high trust me ^^

I haven't heard instrumentalism as intense as this for any other video game. Unless there is a super robotic player, the drums are programmed, but everyone else is playing the HELL outta their instruments. Easily the best OST for any game I've heard so far.

To tell the truth, Young isn't that special. I've killed him today and with his special ability he didn't kill me. Maybe he left me in red status, but he didn't kill me. Let's see what Milton can do against me! >=D by the way, in the 6 bases I was clasification 80, and I've equiped Rush with a Spear and his unit had more than 6500 hp, maybe that has something to do with all that n_nU

@ch4zzyklon that might have something to do with it. Just don't multi deadlock Young and you're fine. His Brawl attack hits in a linear path, so the union hes targetting, and any behind them are going to be hit. I just had my healer union constantly on "Hurry and heal yourself!" so they'd heal anyone that needed it. I had a full on assault union, and 2 backups. 1 backup and assault at a time. When either died, I'd send in the other, so it was always 2 on 1. Worked like a charm.

This battle theme is probably one of my favorite of all time. The Last Remnant, Mass Effect and Chrono Cross/Trigger, in my opinion has the best soundtrack of all time.

Also, the best character inthe game is Dave. His 80 AP Gae Bolg attack is the best move by far. Keep him in a union with 5 guys and you get to use it more often.
When morale is high it will kill everyone on screen with just 1 attack. The only thing thats almost is good is Pagus Galaxy move, which is also ridiculously good and hits all enemies, so Pagus should be the leader of a 5 person union.

Twin Snowpetel by hinnah/hannah should be more reliable because its a sure cast on your first turn.. but u only get those 2 very late in the game which is sad

True, my David triggered his Gae Bolg at least 4 times per base, and sometimes inside the base while fighting the twins and Milton's soldiers.
Add to that, Torgal's Lugh's Revenge weapon skill, which is not only awesome but also insanely powerful against single units.

In my opinion, the leader, Milton is the toughest.
Even with the 25 person hack, he still managed to wipe my ass the first 2 tries.
When he get low health, basically he can wipe out 10-15 full health guys in 1 turn.

Hannah and Hinnah were bitches for me. Their unions casted blackout not once, not twice but THREE times. You know how annoying that is? I only got lucky because one of their unions decided to heal instead of finishing me off. After reviving Pagus, he blew the everlasting fuck out of them with his own.

@Sefearion Iunno if its diff on PC, but on xbox his brawl ive survived with around 100-200hp even with no moral, so its survivable, just have a good leader (Dave, Caedmon, or Torgal, but Caedmon is way better since he has remedies and is insane on physical atk and def) and decent union hp use support constantly too, it helps (under 3.5k hp you wont survive most likely)

This is my favorite song. It definitely made the bases more exciting with this song. I was like Battle Rank 70 when I beat my first 2 bases which was Base 3 & then 2. Other 4 were to hard. Trained to BR 79, beat 3 more which was the Base 1, Base 6, & then Base 5. Trained to BR 84. Beat the last base which was the hardest for me. Hinnah & Hannah. I raped it at BR 84. I was able to kill Hinnah & Hannah at the same time. I lost against Cyclops the first time, but I beat him the second time.

Let me tell you right now, Darien is unbelievably strong. I mean very, very strong. He has some small pitchfork like weapon with over 160 atk. All the other stats are above 50-60. A regular attack does over 10k dmg with the morale half way on my side.
And one more crazy thing. I had a party of only two people. Rush & Irina. The parties stats are way up there and they take very little dmg thanks to Rush's great defense. Well, my Rush has great defense. Irina has amazing healing abilities too.

bases were easy for me at BR 50-60...just make sure you can access PSNERGY makes it easier...for me SECOND CHANCE is a life saver

just finished the base battles, so proud of myself XD to me i found young being the hardest ( i tried like 7 times) then what i did was get 4 unions fill out the first three with the best (rush, david, caedomn, torgal emmy etc) then fill out the last union with irina and two random soldier healers it works well and u just keep two on standby and two killing i put davids on standby while rush killed and so did caedomn :) works well, try it if u have a hard time with the base battles! good luck X

Just wipe out the rest of their unions before attacking the main boss(es).
But with Hinnah and Hannah , you should wipe out their army as usuall, then focus on Hinnah (the silver haired one) but have at least one union attack Hannah or she will use second chance and heal Hinnah for 65000 HP!!!!!
If you take out Hannah first, (the brown haired one and the one with second chance.) then Hinnah will use overdrive (remember from eagles nest? It lets them attack 4 times in one turn)

taking hannah first is a must, hinnah will use overdrive but you can take it specially if you got a healing union with vivification herb on revitalize, milton is far worse than that, he uses iron will, letting him attack 5 times per turn(aka all your units), and his attacks can deal OHKO, so..not freaking funny

I think you got it backwards. It's Hannah that uses overdrive. Hinnah uses Total Domination, which is an enthrall move from what I've seen.

This song is perfect for fighting against your doppleganger or evil counterpart who possesses all of your negative traits, giving it a feel of a nightmare, where your enemy is at an extreme advantage, while some bits within the music suggesting you at least stand a chance.

this game is not supposed to let you go all-out to attack like most others rpgs, you gotta have at least 1 union healing, some cases even 2, while you kill the smaller unions before the boss :P, even after only the boss is left you might want to leave a union on healing full time(take milton for example, fuckin iron will + OHKO attacks)

Thanks for the advice, because after making 3 unions, 1 atttacking union, 1 healing, and 1 all rounder, i maneged to beat Snievian (base 1), Zuido (base 2), and Young (base 5)

Its better to create one attacking union (good strengh, maby defence) one healing union (good healing artes) and one all rounder union with som healing artes!
