  • I agree

  • first of all gama was from INDIA .he born in Amritsar. now pakistan only give birth to mullas or terrorist instead of wrestlers and good poets. because of your crazy leaders.

  • recist country of the world ,,INDIA,just think about your country ,don,t say any thing about pakistan,,shiv sena is the bigest terrorist in the world

  • Ed Banach say anything you want to about technique, mentality, spirituality , or whatever.....he was just plain STRONG!

  • Ed banach was juiced up here thats how he won.

  • @panjabiwarrior fucker

  • you are a fucking fuckup fucker fuck FUCK

  • pakistan use to have finest wrestlers in the world like great gamma (world champion) who settled in pak after partition and his brother imam bux, then the bholu brothers, Jhara who defeated the world champion inoki in 70's

  • us pakistanis are really proud of abdul majeed for reaching this far & why is the stupid commontater calling him maheed instead of majeed?

  • Taking care of business! No messing there!

  • the interview is funny----no dought who the best in da world is ?ummmmmmmmmmmm where is the eastern block russians, iranians, o and da cubans ???

  • This was the 1984 Olympics and the USSR boycotted. There is no doubt that it made for a "different" Olympic tournament. I definitely take nothing away from any of these olympians. They were and are tremendous athletes.

  • I know there was a boycott. I take notthing away from the Banach's (NY Section 9 wrestling in da house) but Pakistan ? Come on......lets tone down the best in the world stuff.

  • I am sure all the wrestlers from 84 often hear "well you didn't REALLY win the Olympics". It certainly wasn't a "full Olympics" with the boycott, but I will say this: Andy Rein was a silver medallist, and I had the pleasure (more like misfortune) of wrestling against him in practice. And when you are at that level, the difference between #1 and #10 is minimal and all of them ARE the best in the world. The only question really is who is the best THAT day.

  • Well said!

  • @wisconsinwrestling so fkn true

  • @wisconsinwrestling Well said. Usually you don't see domination like John Smith, Fadzaev, Belaglazov, and the like; usually anyone in the top 10 has a chance to develop that edge to beat everyone at one time or another- they just need the right timing for good health, training partners, and mental work/clarity. Remember Lou (I think) Banach beat Baumgartner at one time, and Baumgartner went on to beat many eastern block opponents outside the Olympics. the level of talent is there.
