@dpthomas37 oh okay.. well yeah seeing Caine's favourite movies are pretty much the exact movies you would expect from a very proper old school actor sort of person.. which i think is boring i would of liked to be surprised by his choices.. hence my comment.. while watching this clip i was pretty much hoping for him to say a movie which wasnt something that i would of expected.. aka The Human Centipede
@dpthomas37 Its more of a thought that I put into words.. how'd you get on this page anyway should'nt you be on Five Favourite Films with Justin Beiber
Oh man, sorry Michael Caine but Casablanca just isn't that good to me. Personally, I think that movie is an overrated chick flick(The Dark Kight which you were in was better), but hey everyone is entitled to their own opinions. You're a great actor btw.
@09tranm comparing Casablanca to The Dark Knight isn't fair. Influence from movies like Casablanca can be seen in lots of the movies we watch today, just watered down somewhat and with lots of extra filler. Plus, The Dark Knight isnt especially amazing besides Heath Ledger's The Joker.
@dasnake1234 Yeah Casablanca is the original chick flick so it influenced a bunch of other chick flicks. In my opinion that movie is overrated but meh whatever everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
omg four out of five of his favorite movies are mine as well..."Treasure of the Sierra Madre" is the only exception, it is a good movie yes but not one of my favorites.
It would be so awesome, if he marked his most favorite movie something ridiculous and stupid, like Harold and Kumar with comment "its just so f***ing funny"
Most have never see this movie except for the updated version with Sylvester Stallone Get Carter with Michael Caine (1971). No many have seem this movies called Alfie (1966).
When he said that Humphrey Bogart was his favorite actor, I figured he'd say Casablanca was his favorite film. b/c Casablanca is considered Bogart's best film.
to bad these types of movies are not made any more. I really wish the noir film would come back into style and we would all just stop seeing the horrible slap-stick rom-coms that are being pushed constantly.
Michael's John Houston voice at 1:12 is very good, and I'm glad he mentioned the famous speech in "The Third Man." Clearly an old film buff; not a bad list!
@archivesbc thats why the dark knight was so awesome, it had the two greatest voices ever.(morgan freeman and michael caine) All they needed james earl jones.
Not fair... Just when I found distaste with 'current', they put one of my favorite actors on their show. Now can someone get Conor Knighton to tuck in his shirt and not look as if he just had a handjob?
