You need to get your eyes checked, because he was dropping the gloves, most likely out of protection, because Carcillo threw the punch before the gloves on Bradley's hands even moved. His hands were half-way to his face, assuming to protect himself, by the time Carcillo's fist was at Bradley's face. So, either you need to have your eyes examined, or you need to remove the homer glasses.

This type of thing might not happen if players stuck up for their teamates without being afraid of a bunch of penalties and suspensions. Let the players regulate the game with fighting and you will see less boarding, elbowing, charging, cheap shots etc. The flyers stick up for their players and play this "goon" type of hockey amd they almost won a cup. Hardly worth a 4 game suspension... Yes a penalty for the crosscheck, yes instigating... But Bradley did drop his gloves, and he was in the motion of throwing a punch when he got hit... All hockey organization, NHL, CHL etc. need to stop basing penalties by injuries... if that punch had missed and Bradley got to land his there would be no suspension

You need to get your eyes checked, because he was dropping the gloves, most likely out of protection, because Carcillo threw the punch before the gloves on Bradley's hands even moved. His hands were half-way to his face, assuming to protect himself, by the time Carcillo's fist was at Bradley's face. So, either you need to have your eyes examined, or you need to remove the homer glasses.

ALL OF THIS WHILE ON ICE-SHARP HOCKEY SKATES. Fighting in the Nhl is a remarkable skill which should be viewed as such! Get rid of the instigator rule!
