I bought a Zebco 33 not too long ago and i've got to say.. They don't make them like they used to. You hook anything over 30" and you'll end up like me, stripped worm gears, pulling the line in by hand. Maybe i got a bad reel, maybe i caught too big of a fish.. All i know is that the old ones could pull out a 50lb turtle.
help got mine from ebay and its broken it get stuck now the seller dont help so i cant do much mabey some one here can help me (this is what i saw when i opened it the spring was loose so that why the reel got stuck) now this is my questions
1. can it do reverse?
2.where do the spring goes i try to figure it out my self but its not like it did some thing
3. how the hell the bail alert works i try to push the line try revers nothing helped
this is a jip, you guys cut the tape off too many times, this makes me think that u placed those catfish on ur line to help make ur product look good, you also proved this when u pulled up on that rod so fast. No fishermen, even on a boat, would grab their rod that quick unless it was in their hands already. The fish were already caught or breeded, you just put them on yor line. Make a video that is trust worthy, because all of ur rods, baits and fishfinders, dont meet customer approval. Peter
@DoKu69 what they would of done is filmed for a while and edited the video so it shows the bites on how the bite alert worked...ill bet they were fishing for hours to film this video...and if you have ever fished a wood/brush pile they hold a lot of fish and will hit your bait consecutivley <--Spelling...
@2066241 Hey, I caught 7 catfish in a row in the same spot last summer. Each one hit the bait less than 6 seconds in the water. Would have caught more if it hadn't takin' so long to gettem unhook! That was fun! It can be done! Each one of them was a pound or better.
O i believe it i have seem some people using secret 7...But they did edit these so it appears to be back to back...Whch they maybe but i dont know only jeff would...

@skjoyner I fish daily, and i've seen some of the best bass fishermen "cheat" to sell products, make a good show, or just to gain some kind of fame. This Jeff guy, seems likes another roland martin waiting to happen, only with catfish and not bass. I have an easier way of catching big cats in record time, my secret, is homemade baits with hazelnut and peppermint extract. Try it sometime and if you fished much u should know most fishermen are liars :D plain and fuckin simple get over it

I have the spinning combo and it is an okay catfish combo, now the cabelas King Kat spinning combo is amazing

@Steeler903 i had the same problem so what u do is jush pull the cap hard and i bet it u look at it u will know how to put it back on and close it
