You know i'm using 5.00 m33-6 with pops 3.80 (i couldn't find the 4.01 one and i read its the same) and its not working , its just black screen after PSP logo and the it turns off, can someone tell me why and what can i do to play this game?

well first i downloaded the japanese iso

then i patched it with the new english patch

then converted it to an eboot

now i can play it on my psp!! xD

DarkCenobyte when you try to save or load does it lag? My game is totally fucked up when i try to save or load. otherwise its fine.

I sometimes had problems after using the save/load screen (graphics glitchs, ...) but I just had to restart the game and load my save-data to resolve the problem.

I have the same problems. Basically to avoid it, I just bash the O button as fast as I can to not allow the graphics on screen to settle and get corrupted.

Works some of the time... otherwise the game is perfectly playable.

I got this on my slim psp. Its at 5.00 m33-6 and it works flawlessly! It doesn't give me no problems at all, not even any slow downs! All I did was use 5.00 m33's Popsloader and use the 4.01 pops and you'll be totally ready for that game with NO problems I promise you!

Follow up DarkXenobyte's comment, just search PSX2PSP 1.3 and download that. To get it to work though, you'll also need to look for base.pbp and download it as well. The base.pbp should come with a keys.bin file.

Unzip PSX2PSP, open the "FILES" folder located in the PSX2PSP folder you just extracted. Put the "Base.pbp" and the "Keys.bin" in that "FILES" folder and execute PSX2PSP.exe, ignore the security warning that would pop out.

I have CFW 4.01 m33-2 on my PSP Slim and I've tried to run this after patching the ISO and nothing. My other Eboot's work fine but this one gives me so much trouble. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I've been waiting for this to finally be translated and I can't even play it now ugh.

If you use the firmware 4.01, problems must come from the conversion of the game EBOOT.

Try using the same software as I do:

"to create I used PSX2PSP 1.3 (it requires a BASE.PBP and KEYS.BIN (normally find in the game "Hot Shot Golf 2 (U.S.)" but I use those found in the software "AutoPopstation 4″ (in his folder "CoreData").

And for setting, I put the maximum level of compression of PSX2PSP 1.3 (the size of my EBOOT is about 460M)."

with the firmware updates, you have the ability to put ps1 games, no matter what the region, on your psp. I was just playing FF8 yesterday on mine, so this is legit.
