Popping into York tomorrow so shall pick some up then! can't wait to try, I tried your truffles and I thought they were amazing, if this is yummy I will have to get your book!

  • Fructose is a sugar regardless of where it comes from it is still a sugar, and with candida this is a no,no, so there must be an alternative to this sugar?????????

  • I can't help but be puzzled that you use all these lovely healthy ingredients and then throw margerine as a vegan option for butter when there are so many beautiful organic oils which would be a much healthier substitute to margerine and work absolutely fine in the recipe...I really dont get it...

    Bio Maragrine is a healthy natural all organic with no additives, preservatives or colouring. they use lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, soya lecithine... thats it. It is NOT the marg that you buy in the shops like vitalite, flora ect...they are fake and plastic.

    Hi, not really i use a combination of rice and potato or spelt flour, but you can use what ever flour, what ever you like or have :)

  • Great video! And your little helper is adorable. :) The cake looks great! I can't believe how it uses so many whole ingredients! That is awesome. I tried Almond Milk in my cooking and find i like that taste a lot better.

    No you would need to use stevia, xylitol or agave

    Fructose has a low Gi but the others have none

    agave has very little

    I made this recipe 2 days ago,.. i used rice flour,.. can't find spelt flour in the shops. Its very hard to find vegan products in my country..Malaysia.

    and organic is very expensive too. but i try..

    Can I replace fructose with agave nectar? if i can what measurement should it be?

    I hope you could make some simple lunch and dinner recipes too.. ;)

  • Did you say Spelt Flour? Spelt Flour is not gluten free and not suitable for celiacs. I use Brown Rice flour and Tapioca flour.

  • if you read the description she says you can substitute 300 g of rice flour for spelt.

  • thanks loads- looks gorgeous....my son and are gluten free (usually) sugar free organic (mainly) vegans - so your recipies are excellent for us- (and for others too of course!) i'd been experimenting with grinding fruit sugar for icing sugar-your recipie looks spot on :)

    have bought you recipie book already after seeing these youtube videos :)

  • I enjoyed watching you all make this recipe. I wondered if you knew of what I could use instead of the frutose to sweeten it. I am not supposed to have it I don't believe...I know I can't have a lot of real sugar. I usually sweeten my drinks with Truvia ( Stevia) or Agave Nectar...Any ideas?

  • Hi, you can use stevia or agave. Stevia can make it a bit dry so ad a little more liquid. Agave syrup can make it a little runny so ad a little extra flour. Good luck. Please let me know how you get on! Anette

  • Thank you for your recipe, do you know how to make chocolates ( Bon Bons) that are Gluten free, peanut,nut and are vegan? I have the chocolate chipps although they have soy, I was thinking to start there; but I rather not have the soy. Either way. THNX

  • hi, thanks for your comment. I am working on a recipe for chocolates that are just organic marg, fructose and rice flour. I will let you know when I have figured out the all the correct measurements. In the mean time please check out the chocolate cornflake cakes. If you make them smaller they could be like bon bon or sweets. Anette

  • Hi the best recipe for chocolate sweets is my chocoalte oramge truffles. To make them nut free dont use the ground almonds. Use rice or potato flour instead and they will thicken up. Link is to the righthand side. Hope that helps. Anette :)
