Trace the story back: first to full version of the CNN report, then to the Independant, then to the original science paper by Matese/Whitmire. You find out:

(1) This is about Tyche, and Tyche is theoretical

(2) IF it exists, Tyche's average orbital distance is 15,000 AU with a maximum eccentricity of 0.5, which means it never gets closer than 7,500 AU to the sun.

That old CNN report is part of a larger article regarding Tyche. Look into it a little further, Tyche is completely and 100% theoretical without any proof of its existence as of yet. It might be out there -- who knows -- but there is no relation to this theoretical object and the hoax surrounding Nibiru. Hope that helps clear things up for you a bit.

@purpatriot78 You've responded with very standard comments offered up by the pro-Nibiru community which have been debunked ad nauseam. In brief... you live on a geologically active planet so expect volcanoes. Earthquakes are not on the rise, look at the data over 100 years. Even if you added every solar system planet up they would only have a tiny fraction of the tidal force the Moon produces -- earthquakes and natural disasters are not caused by solar system objects. @purpatriot78 By all means... please present your data. However, if you go to the USGS and look back over 100 years you'll see that's not the case. So, who exactly did you contact and "admitted" earthquakes were on the rise? Did this person look at the data? Anyway, just for the sake of argument lets assume earthquakes are on the rise. Your making a huge and unsupported link that Nibiru exists and is causing these events. You need to provide some observation to support this. I'll wait.

@purpatriot78 Last time I looked the Chile earthquake was reported to have shifted the Earth axis slightly. This isn't the first time such an event has occurred and likely won't be the last time. At any rate, Nibiru or just any body out in the Kupiter belt isn't going to be able to cause earthquakes on Earth. Even if you take every single known planet into account it equals less than 2% the tidal force the Moon places upon us each month.

@purpatriot78 There are no videos of brown dwarf objects in the Kupiter belt. No such object has been observed. A theory exists that a binary twin might be out there (Tyche) but there is no consensus in the scientific community about this and certainly there is no evidence as of yet. Even if it is discovered, you're making a huge, unfounded, unsubstantiated leap that such an object would cause earthquakes on Earth. Again, all of the planets added up equal less than 2% of the Moons tidal force.

When I send you a link from the USGS with a statement that earthquakes are not on the rise you tell me the USGS can't be trusted. Hmm...

By all means, please provide your observations that a binary twin has been observed in the Oort cloud. What equipment are they using? What are the objects current co-ordinates?

Nonsense -- Elenin is close enough to us now that if a binary twin or brown dwarf was following behind you would be able to see it with your naked eye. Such a large object that close to Earth would very easily be about half the size of the Sun. Not exactly something you could miss. Please don't insult me with "Second Sun" YouTube video rebuttals. ;)

Even out by Pluto you could see a brown dwarf with your naked eye.
