  • Is it possible to like something too much?

  • top tune

  • bruce lee is what it's kickin' like, thanks = )

  • The voice reminds of Mc Fixx it. Rappeurs in Acid House and Eurodance were simply great! Especially black guys. Thank you for this track. 5*

  • 0:31

Incredible hook, those drums couldn't have been added better.

  • If there were 20 people on the dance floor when they played this song, 19 of them were doing the running man.

  • Holy flashback, haven't heard this song in over 20 years ha.

This was HUGE in the clubs back then, they would play it at least 3 times a night.

  • FLASHBACK - there's a really dark early 90's UK white label that samples "gettin busy with the track" and "mix it up" off this over a 125 bpm (ish) breakbeat and really evil sparse keyboards! Someone else still alive who tripped their tits off in proper acid-head nights (I won't say clubs) must know the track I mean!

  • Doug Lazy + Raze (Vaughan Mason) = very much underrated. Pretty good album too (includes this, Let It Roll amongst others).....good times.

  • YES YES YES!

    Many thanks for uploading -

I was listening to Dream FM in the 90s: finding this has made my day....just been transported back to my misspent youth

  • not many have managed to slow the electro-funk down to this speed and still keep it RAW - this was the direction music should have gone in the 1990s - pioneering tune - maybe when we get the corporate crackerjacks off our backs we can pick it up from where the Lazy man left it

  • still can't beat this 1 for a tune

  • OF Course, the folks in NYC, instead of signing Kool Rock Steady, Tyree, Sundance or Fast Eddie; they decide to "emulate" the sound Chicago....not that this track isn't hot...

  • just a question... do you think this joint actually emulated the Chi sound??

  • What a classic! Forever in my 12" collection...

  • thats how we rolled mofos

"Bruce Lee? Is what it's kicking like..."

  • Hey man, excellent upload, this is a must have...thanks!!!

  • Yeah baby, big hair, aqua net hairspray, zcavarichi pants, zodiac shoes, and lots of cocaine!

  • I HATED Z.CAVARICHI PANTS!

  • It aint as good as let it roll though is it, doesn age as well

  • As much as I'm luvvin "Pump", I agree that "Roll" is a better trak. Both brilliant though eh?

  • Doug is the man, all of todays artists could learn a lesson from him. He is lyrically one of the best ever, well at least for my money.

  • I'll share my money with YOU :o)

  • :D Thanks. nice to see I'm not alone in liking hip-house. Treat the bass like a bone and just bury it. :D

  • Yes indeed. Let the rhythm pump! Cool sounds, cool friends, cooler girls. Rock the houseparty all night long.

  • Doug Lazy, get crazy!

  • Whew... I must have dug a groove into this vinyl when I used to spin in the 80's. This cut was sure to get everyone on the floor.. Great dance cuts back in the 80's...

  • Hammer 1989 war geil

  • hammer bin VOLL im 1989 rausch;)

  • The whole "Gettin Crazy With Doug Lazy" cassette/album/CD is a hip-house classic. If you can find it..then by all means pick it up. Can anyone help me find "Bass Power" by Raze..Doug kills the vocals on that one as well.

  • I just admire the "feet dont feel me now" sample.

    Class rebirth.

  • "treat the bass like a bone, and just bury it.." LOL... love those hip-house days!

  • on the flip side is there a dub side?

  • Im sure its an acapella version on the flip side

  • classic old house at the time i must have mixed it a million times:)

  • Correct me if I'm wrong but there's a dub mix on the flip side of this which, for my money is a bit better than this mix... but it's all down to personal taste eh? Thanks for uploading!

  • This tune is great. I think Doug Lazy was a DJ here in the Washington DC area.

  • he sure was. On WPGC 95.5 . He was one of the remixers that did Edits (like latin Rascals) back in late 80's. Then he recorded "Let It Roll" and was signed to Atlantic. He came back to WPGC and was on air DJ from early 90's to 1999.

  • oh man memories coming floodin back, thanks for posting budddy

  • Ageless - House is for all

  • Gone through 60s Tamla, 70s jazz/funk/disco, 80s house, 90s house/garage/trance etc. I'm 55 now and still luv all this stuff. 85-95 was the BEST for music. I was too old to go clubbin with u lot then. I jst bought the tunes & enjoyd them at home without the drugs....on my own. Sad eh?!

  • there is no house like NYC house!!

  • Except Chicago house. ;)

  • i am 40 yrs old, originally from chicago. i was there as house started local and blew up in the 80's. you want to say that AGAIN??? that would be as bad as me saying that about hip hop.
