I can't believe this. I look like madison (only taller) and I'm 10, but I haven't been taught to value looks over intellect. Maybe I'm not polished all the time and I've only worn make-up once before for a wedding, but I get straight A's-A*'s in my reports and I work hard, which I believe is much better that winning grand supreme at some pageant.
I feel so sorry for these girls they're only 10, they should be playing with toys, laughing with their friends and just having fun. Not being smothered in makeup and fake tan and getting their hair done. It's ridiculous, their natural beauty and childhood is being taken away.

I mean come on who in the world would want their child to live life based on looks and not brains and personality? children should be children and not be used as sex symbols! It is like the pagents mommys are saying, " come let my daughter be your next victim"! Several old friends of hers have appeared in nauseating ‘punishment sex’ clips on YouPorn, & one is now permanently comatose on coke. Their lives are essentially over.

I'm probably the only one who thinks this... but to me, they just look like children!! OK, fair enough when we reach our mid to late teens our hormones go haywire and we do like to look pretty and chat up the pretty ones etc etc... but people should not see children like this... they still need time to grow... and they don't need to hide their natural beauty of innocence with all that makeup... Plus, fake tan and plastic surgery - gimme a break!!

tyla's my sister, she lives in south africa now, she chooses to wear contacts, barely ever wears make up and got her ears pinned back, I'm her brother and live 200000 miles away, she's the best sister in the world, and my mum is amazing, the bbc cut shit out to make everyone seem bratty. I was standing next to tyla during the interview and they literally forced her to say that with all the questions that pressurised her

the poor girl with the contact lenses :( i wear contact lenses but i wasn't forced into it, in fact i was trying to force my parents to let me wear contact lenses at a young age, but i feel so sorry for that girl. And a plastic surgery at 7!!!!! That mother should be jailed

(Maddison) I think at her age, she has alot more things she could be doing things that she may find intrestinfg and things which are suitable for her age, as you see in the begining she said she likes playing with her rubber ducks and dressing up her bears. I think its good that she has an ambition but i dont think it is right that her mum is telling her what to with her looks and planning her own life... sorry but that is just my own oppinion.
