Nice, but scientifically unsound. There is no evidence that psilocybin mushrooms have extraterrestrial origins. On the contrary, the genetic evidence indicates that all life forms on earth diversified from a single ancestral organism that arose from the primordial soup. When we encounter alien life, it will probably be so different from known life-forms that there will be no doubt of its extraterrestrial origins. Mushrooms are terrestrial, and are related to other terrestrial life-forms.
Even if you're not into mushrooms, it's very interesting; but if you're interested in mushrooms at all (psych, medicinal or nutritional) it's even better!
