Void hovering (on GC/PJ64) doesn't require slingshot. The explosives in the voids are doubled in size. Hence why he doesn't use slingshot. VC has void hovers, but they are lame and don't do double :/

in "Dodongos cavern TAS" you bomb hovered, and it got sooooooo boring cause it took too long<_<

you know, you can't bombchu hover over voids on mupen, because that freezes the game. neither does it work on N64

so you have to use bombs in a TAS

This most likely will be useful for any% but we'd have to use bomb hovers and they are easy.

In a void, the explosions are bigger! You need the slingshot or the bow, so that you don't backflip to far!

In Majoras Mask, the explosions are bigger! This is the reason, why you don't need the bow for hovers, only if there is not much space!
