Huntsman placed third in NH. That's a good place, yes? Okay now, he also attacked Mitt harshly a couple days before the drop out. Now, we all know Mitt is very wealthy. So considering that, I think its plausible Mitt persuaded Jon through means of some future monetary favor cause Mitt winning at SC would be a huge victory. Thumbs up if you think its plausible.

God love him, Huntsman was my favourite choice, but if he thinks that the nation was founded on trust he needs to go back to social studies class. The framers of your Constitution were a bunch of the most untrusting fellows around. They didn't trust the unpropertied class (which was the vast majority of the population at the time) at all (hence the electoral college, the original method of selecting senators and the fact that the Constitution itself never went before the people).

Three thoughts entered my head when I watched this.

1. Quitting while he got third in one state

2. Quitting before Steven Colbert potentially gets more delegates

3. A Mormon endorsing a Mormon while people don't have that on their minds

All of these things of course indicating he's ending his 2012 campaign in order to try to make his 2016 campaign work or avoid looking bad.
