  • Beautiful stuff, including Jim's playing. Vale Hessie, such a great presence. He lives on in those Crowdies songs every single time we hear them.

  • I think this IS the last public performance, from January 2001, of the original (1986-1989) lineup. I've had the audio from this for a decade but have been searching since then for the video. So, many, many thanks. It's been six years on, and if I haven't stopped missing Paul by now I probably never will . . . .

  • Everyone looks great! Especially Hessie on drums. :( Thanks for posting.

  • @ChizelMonkeeThanks so much for posting this show. Wonderful to see one of the last performances with the original line-up. They had such amazing chemistry. The Rock Arena performance from 87 captures that so well. You can really see how energized Neil is in this song. Paul Hester was just such an incredible presence. Two things stand out when you listen to him: the way he uses the bass drum and the very under-rated backing vocals. But as Neil put it, "there's a cost when you radiate sunshine."

  • the guy doing Mark Hart's role shanks it big time. so bad. ruins the song.

  • @jezxk18 Hmmm, to each their own, but that guy is the legendary Jim Moginie from the legendary Midnight Oil so in my book he doesn't have to try to be Mark Hart. Hope you enjoy the other vids though!

  • @jezxk18 You truly are a dickhead mate!!

  • thanks so much for this love u for this vid
