I have heard/read a lot of not-so-nice things about Kishoreda & his many eccentricities..but say what you may this video is convincing proof for me that he must have been an awesome humanbeing...how many other singers of such fame & popularity would have signed autographs on stage in the middle of a concert? that's an eccentricity in itself I guess...

What a simple and down to earth legend. For people who don't understand Hindi well this is how I can try to make them understand and explain who this man is. If you know or aware of Bruce Springsteen and how down to earth man he is and the kind of song he sings comparing The Boss with another legend Kishore Kumar in this part of the world, Springsteen could be only 10-15% comparing in front of Kishore Kumar if one could understand Hindi as well as English, even though I am great fan of The Boss

Either this just isn't a great concert, or the recording leaves a lot to be desired. Kishore's other concert clips (on YouTube, at the moment) are amazing (although also of poor recording quality).

I have seen Kishore live in chicago, the year was 1986 october, just 1 year before he died.
