Everybody knows that when the republicans took over the white house after bill Clinton, we had a surplus. Every since that Bush kept spending and spending until we got a deficeit in the economy. and it's been like this every since. The only ones who will benefit from an economy like this is Wal-mart,the republicans who are paid by big corporations who don't want the competition from new small businesses.

Forget the parties and vote indepndant! Both parties have failed us over many years and obama is using that to allow him to take down this country. Blame everyone else, but HE is the one TRASHING and CRASHING our country! However, John Boehner is one of the few in congress that have always been for the people and has no problem telling congress his thoughts. I like having someone that stands up for We The People! Bush didn't do anything to harm the economy, the Democrats did it with thier "give everyone a loan or else" policy. Bush warned about the impending doom, tried to stop it & the democrats blocked him at every turn calling him "racist". the stimulus package was the right thing to do. for everyone out there claiming tax cuts are the way to go, you must realize government spending has a higher multiplier effect on the economy than tax cuts, because tax cut money can get saved which doesn't help the economy. for all of you advocating tax cuts, tell me that you dont plan on saving a little bit of it. those savings do nothing for aggregate demand in the economy while government spending all goes toward spurring economic growth.

Obama and his liberal congress will stagnate the economy for at least 3 years with their "progressive" policies. Our future is bleak as long as they stay in power. Unless things change drastically, unless the people who are as mad as hell about the direction their country is going, unless these people take to the streets in 2010, them we are doomed; the end of our country as we know it will become a reality.

President says U.S. must spend its way out of recession with more tax incentives to encourage people to make their homes more energy efficient while at the same time accusing the GOP of opposing economic stimulus efforts and his health care overhaul while supporting tax cuts and spending that have ballooned the deficit.

Obama also suggested this Bail Out package would both help the government spend money on job creation while also paying down the nation's $12 trillion debt.

I'm 43 and I can honestly say that I never have been able to qualifiy for a tax incentive of this nature. You might could poll American's and find out who will want to before the money leak's thru the crack's!

I known first hand for year's this how corporations and some local business work! I lost thousand's! They want to keep the cash instead of issuing a refund to me and other consumer's! Online business are bad for screwing people with these contract's. Lately try taking a part back to a ford dealer that you didnt even use at all. You end up in a fight everytime with all online business and some local businesses...... I dont want to fight.

The best possible thing the govt could do is stop scaring business and make massive cuts across the board. That would hurt like heck in the in interim but in the long run that is what we need to do.
