you can listen to those somewhere online. the left one for about the fifth of the price of the right one has 1.5 to 2.5 factor less good snr!

i wish they would build a smartphone like iphone combined with a recorder with decent microphones and a small studio/ sample environment with a touchscreen synt like the casio vl... area51s muzac for tha masses so to say...!?

Another field recorder in a building where are the FIELD demonstrations,outside in the elements mother nature throws at you?

they just put a LARGE price on it so ppl WILL buy it thinking oh!,,its gotta be the best,it probly has really really good mics and higher recording frequency capabilitys,but and i do mean but,so does the h4n ive heard,sony stuff is good but so are cheaper products for 1,900?idk

Indoors you have the ability to hook up to the mains ,true field is as it says is in the outdoors away from a grid fed power supply, the whole point of using a field recorder or any kit for that purpose is to run from its own battery power be it onboard or via a battery belt .

Too many reviews are done in a studio in which you could just use mains powered kit,if your demonstrating a device for field use the open away from a mains supply , or am i missing something here?

The words "In the Field" I have not seen too many people use any field device outdoors ,why? when being a field recorder do you not demonstrate in the outdoors?

"In the Field" references any location in which you are working.... outdoors or indoors.

thats a very weak description, nobody is buying these things to go places they could plug a laptop into
