If you don't have Rudoga in the party it won't let you start the conversation about the silver-bullet necklace, so him being in the party is required. I made the mistake of not having him while doing item creation, so I had to go all the way back to get him and then the conversation started.

Pretty sure the background in the original was always a blue grid with a dark backdrop. So yeah, new backgrounds in the remake.

I looked at your other videos with Nei being resurrected, and OMG shes a monster! I bet she'll be able to solo the entire game! You should post videos of her duking out with the bosses sometime.

On a side note, if a cutscene comes up and Rolf is dead in the party, who does the talking?

Certain events and conversation scenes can't be triggered if Rolf is dead... you can't even trigger the Neifirst battle without him.

sorry...im just curious, but how are musk cats and numans related? i thought nei was made in a biolab or something. And, im not sure how rikka was made. now that i think about it...myau and nei do have the same looking ears! they must be cousins! lol!! :-)

The "Bio-Monster" in question that they used splicing with Palman DNA was the Musk cat. That is the reason Numans are so agile and have such high intelligence in most of the latest Phantasy Stars. And the ears are also a dead give away.

wow! this is why all of the phantasy star games are so good because they have reasons for every thing! i remember musk cats being in ps4, but i forgot their purpose. Is this explained in ps4 or ps2? im getting old...i cant remember like i use to! thanks for the reply!

I don't believe it was explained in any of the main storys. But it may have been in an interview or one of the text adventures.
