@seyday1 There are a lot of beautiful symbols in the world from different cultures that we can all enjoy. You could use it for a necklace or expand and make a doily.
Thank you for every crochet video you make!! I'm 17 and have Tourette's and crocheting helps me relax. Your videos are so easy to follow and I can give great gifts to everyone! Thank you.
This is beautiful. I'm still relatively new to crochet and everything here is so tiny. Is there any chance of you doing this item in yarn so it's bigger and easier to see what you're doing?
Wow, this was so easy! Thank you for this pattern, I'm going to make a lot of these and give them away with prayer beads for Christmas!! God Bless You!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful cross pattern. Your instructions are clear and easy. I made the cross bookmark with a slight change on the edging (I've been crocheting for over 30 yrs). Looking forward to more of your patterns.
Hi Teresa! I an just stopping in to let you know that I just finished my very first cross seconds ago, and am completely amazed at how it turned out!!! I was at Myrtle Beach last week, and I made 270 cookie icing pieces. LOL. I'm goin' to make them into fridge magnets, and sell them for .50 cents, with cotton kitchen coasters. YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!!!!!!!! Happy crocheting!
I agree it would be nice if you held you're work up so we can see what it is supposed to look like. Sometimes its hard to follow because of your fingers we cant see what is going on. but I really love your videos have only be crocheting for a few months.
Thanks Teresa I am going to attach this to a crocheted set of rosay beads I plan to crochet , which Im sure I will be able to figure out after watching your many instructions for different stiches:)
I really appreciate the work you do with your videos but I had no idea what I was doing when it came to the "popcorn" stitch. It was only shown in slow motion the "third" time it was used.
It would be a good idea to hold your work up and show what it is supposed to look like after a particular stitch has been made because I could not see what your were doing as you did it...your thumb was in the way.
My cross still turned out to look quite nice but without any "popcorn" stitch in it.
@tjw1963 Hehe yes but it doesnt slow down the process your doing so I can see slower though some parts are slowed down; I will still try again :) Thank you :)
Theresa do you know anymore designs that deal with using them small hooks? I got a size 7, 8, and 10 but, I don't know what to do with them. I just wanted them in case someone had a design for me to do with them. I made your cross design and it turned out great. You are my favorite crochet designer. I made things for my mom and sisters and others using your designs. So do you have more designs using those small crochet hooks?
Thank you. I have a few items with thread. I have 5 snowflakes posted and a thread motif. I have a few other patterns posted on my crochet blog done with thread.
I learned the puff stitch when I was about 10. That was the only stitch I knew until I was a bit older. Crochet is a great hobby for kids your age. Thank you for the comment and Happy crocheting.

Another COMMERCIAL on you tube. If you're going to crochet and/or knit something, do an item that can help people. Soldiers need warm items..so do homeless...be HELPFUL FOR OTHERS in 2009
I think Theresa is doing a great job helping others with her site here. With the help we are receiving learning how to crochet/knit with her instructions there will be numerous people being able to crochet/knit warm items for the soldiers/homeless/anyone needing an item to keep them warm, etc. She has numerous patterns to teach others not only a cross but I personally think a cross is a very useful tool. Try crocheting one, say a prayer with it and pass it one. :)
Where did you learn to crochet? Where did you learn to crochet the things that you posted on youtube did ou find a pattern or did you make your own pattern???? YOU ARE AWESOME I LOVE CROCHETING I USED TO LIKE KNITTING BUT NOW I AM IN LOVE WITH CROCHETING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!God bless you!!! You are talented!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you. My mom taught me to crochet over 26 years ago. I have been making up the patterns that I use on Youtube and my crochet blog. I used to make up patterns all the time over the years but I never wrote them down and remembered them in my head. Most are written out now except for few.
Teresa, you are amazing! My best friend watched your videos and made Christmas hats for all her family and friends this year. Everyone was thrilled with their hats because she made each one unique. Now, I am watching your videos and learning myself...this is so wonderful for you to share your talent. Tina
Thankyou so much for this, supposed to be on my way to work right now but just get the email. I will have a go next week when i'm off and let you know how I got on.

a cross gives hope, people use crosses to help them pray, spread the word of God in 2009.
