Well if it happens. Run the cydia software as if you ran into the same problem. When you get stuck again at the "waiting for your ipod to go into recovery" Restart your iPod manually by pressing both the home button and the power button untill it shuts off. Then turn it back on. Cydia should detect it that it was gone, press the try again button. Cydia should have picked it up.

turn it off, hold down the home button as you plug it in to your computer, and then wait until a little steve jobs cartoon comes up, then it should recognize your ipod, and then click restore
