Whats all this? Oh that's just silly copyright information no need to worry about that, the idea you can pirate programs on a worldwide inter connection of computers is far fetched and silly :P
MMh thats just silly copyright information no one reads that silly. Watching copyright videos on a computer? Bah nonsense like the whole The Internet idea. It wont catch on.
Not only is there no onboard clock, for some reason the time entry requires him to type at least 10 characters. It also looks like he puts the date as something like 11/11/11. I wonder if this show played a small part in crashing the home video game market by adding to that whole, "Let's buy computers for useful things, instead of dumb old game systems."
Oh for the days of No on board Clock! I remember having to put the time & Date in Every Time I used Productivity Software on machines like the TRS-80 Mod III, C64, Sinclair ZX-81.
I once read that Microsoft ran their accounting on a TRS-80 clear up until they had 800 employees. I still use a 1983 TRS-80 Model 100 (the first laptop). The Model 100 was the last computer which Bill Gates personally wrote code for. And yes, it seems like its OS was released before it was finished. :)
I love the last few seconds of this vid. "We're now touching on the secret of the computer's power."
If you don't read the copyright info they will turn u into a human centipad

I used to watch this on Saturday mornings, on WCNY. They;re in Syracuse NY, but borrowed heavily from Brit and Canadian TV. Thank goodness.

Check out our Sagan Youtube page and videos then. And have you heard MelodySheep's music with Carl? WOW! People are rightfully impressed.

OMG - hearing those keyboard "clacks" takes me right back to my grade 8 "computer club" when I first used a TRS-80 - wow. (I'm a geek...)

Honestly, how expensive would it be to add an on-board clock to a $2,000 computer? It's amazing we put up with that.

The best part is "it's not really meant to be read, it's just copyright information"
