People are in the gutter. They're in a rut. They're buried in problems and filth. Yet we expect them to come out of it as ably as the most wealthy. This I believe is unreasonable. It's true that a poor person in america can become rich and famous, however, it's an unrealistic expectation that only serves the most wealthy and famous of us. To ignore the parts of our world that're the most desperate and deprived, is to open ourselves up to those problems, to give those problems a place to grow.
