@hazefarma The shock of the situation i guess, since this is so uncommon the referee wasn't sure what to do so he let them fight on.. which is probably the right thing to do in this situation.

he wasnt warmed up and he got crushed in the first 5 seconds of the fight. an 8 second knee might have got him up and beaten down again. he was on wobble street to say the least. he would have just taken more punishment. the doc made the right call getting on the canvas when he did, that guy was really hurt in the first round against a fresh and warm world class professional boxer. you can die in there, so you gotta protect your fighters

it doesnt make you "dizzy" per say, it takes your legs away is what it does. they start to tingle. if you get him more they stop doing what you tell them to. getting fuzzy usually happens over the course of a fight where a guy takes a lot of shots, or when he gets hit in the chin and his head spins around. it looks like he got hit with an equilibrium shot, which makes you lose the ability to tell up from down. perhaps you could call it dizzy, but its not like spinning around dizzy you know?
That was effing hilarious. Look at the way he gets up. He looks like my little cousin trying to learn how to walk. And that confused "where I'm at?" look on his face is priceless.

By "dry" they mean not sweaty. It means the fighter hasn't warmed up before the fight.
