This was one of Whitesnake's best rock songs even though it didn't chart as high as some others. I loved it and still have the old 45-rpm vinyl record. For some reason the bass player got almost zero footage in the video despite the mean bass line. But, the band members who did this video were different than the ones who did the studio record; Coverdale was always firing people. Not that Steve Vai couldn't follow anyone on a guitar. If a sound could come from a guitar, Vai could make it.

Whitesnake was at their best right here. This line-up was the best. Everyone in this band was extremely talented, and complimented each other. Not to mention, what hot guys. DAMN

Steve Vai was asked to record the guitar parts, all the solos! because Vandenburg broke some bones. And Steve Vai was asked to fill in the tour. Not because viv left. Vandenburg couldn't play and the studio was already rented.

And sure, it's also true that the lead singer got much of his influence from Robert Plant.
And it's true that Led Zeppelin was better than them.

Don't get me wrong there are alot of GREAT ROCK ARTIST in this era and this era put out real music with feeling not all videos were good though but the music can never be over ruled this era was and still is the best the popcorn fart music of today is a here today gone tomorrow and forgotton but the 80's 90's era is still around and won't be going away anytime soon so to all my HELL YEAH! Whitesnake is one hell of a rock band, right up there with Kiss, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, etc...
But not all modern music is bad. Look at Nickelback, they know how to Rock and I don't see them stepping down from the stage anytime soon.
