Rubber, I didn't really have time. I drew, animated AND wrote the review RIGHT AFTER the screening. This version was completed at 4:30am. Two more hours I'd've gotten the syncing perfectly -- I felt this was good enough, especially given how fast I posted it. But thanks for viewing! -Kp

Me and a buddy went out to see it, and it was actually prett funny. Also, the animated Kieth doing a wierd fake laugh gave me nightmares. In a good way.

gmm: PhotoShop. I drew over my own face, then erased areas and redrew, saving a new image each time. I then took those images and put them, one after the other, one by one, into my video program. Glad you enjoyed! -Kp

That was photoshopped? looks like Paint to me... You shoulda anti aliased your edges... or maybe some shading...

gmm, the edges are antialiased. The problem was that I was originally going to use a color background and decided to use a live-action one instead. No time for shading. I wanted to get this up ASAP. And, no, I'm not calling you a sap.

Now you say that even if you're not a Simpsons fan you will enjoy it, but you never stated if YOU yourself were a Simpsons fan.

I was thinking most of the praise for this film was coming from people who are big fans of the show, and out of respect, they think it was very well done and give it high marks. Much like The Transformers.

So if I hate the Simpsons TV Show after its eighth season or so, will I enjoy this one? Or are the jokes the same recycled bullcrap from the latter seasons?

MasterChief, I fully believe you will enjoy it. I was never a "Fan" -- although I've admired the show. The movie doesn't rely on jokes only fans would get (i.e., someone pointing at Nelson saying "ah-haaa!" and Nelson replying "Wow, that hurts."). It's a clever, funny movie but not as clever as it should have been.

Just got back from it, and I was thoroughly impressed!

It actually had some pretty original humor, lol.

And I definitely loved the underlying themes etc. about Homer and Marge, Lisa and Collin, etc.
