Boots protect their feet from all manner of crap out there, esp that salt they put down in snow. And indoor dogs can't really handle snow on their paws. There's no fur on the pads. Plus neat way to keep your house clean.
He really does look annoyed and bewildered though.

Wrong. Dogs in the north wear 'booties' to protect their feet from the snow.
This is also far more humane then declawing, as they are only trying to preserve their floor.

French bulldogs would never even exist, if left by themselves, they can't reproduce, they would die from diseases, if their nasal passages and eyes aren't cleaned properly and they would drown if they had to swim. So, they are living creatures, but slightly different from what we're used to. :)

wow you're smart arn't you. booties like those are meant to help pets, like prevent them from slipping, or in my neighbors case, help prevent their dogs paws from bleeding profusely as she plays in the pool and runs around on the cement! which would you rather have? dogs hurting themselves, or a mildly entertaining way to keep them safe?

ALL OF YOU PEOPLE WHO SAY THIS IS CRUEL - idiots like you don't realise that the shoes are designed with your pet's comfort and health in mind, and are used to protect their toes from the ingrowing problems that is sometimes contracted if your dog often walks on hard flooring, such as this. This is not for all dogs, but it's quite obvious [unless you're an idiot *glare at SKATE and StreetCats*] that these owners love their dog, and are using these shoes to protect it. Duh.

i used to take my dogs out for a walk without those little dog shoes, and sometimes they would get mycosis on their paws. So the little dog shoes were quite useful.
