I don't recognise the mic model you're using, but I suspect it's side address and not end address, that is you should be singing into the side with the switches (if present)/logo and not the end as you're doing above. This would explain why the vocals are quiet and lack presence compared to the guitar.
Appreciate the change in lyrics lol! I do that also, which is understandable, should've put "Then she tells me how I'm a creep" to he but whatever doesn't hurt a thing. You've got great talent for covers. Core was amazing in every way, shape, and forum and it's nice to see I'm not alone in keeping the music circulating.
Great job, the talent is obviously there. I would recommend vocalizing from your diaphragm more, it will give a more soulful and louder rendition for the audience.
