  • Great!

  • Thank you thank you thank you for making the best video that I HAVE EVER seen with how to make a steady cam for less than $50.

    THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the build but it seems a little on the pricy side for DIY. How much did it run you?

  • Great idea... but one of the WORST HOW TOs I've ever seen. You would fail a communications course in College. Thanks for sharing.

  • This set up looks amazing, the best DIY steadycam I've seen. One question, does the flashlight just screw straight onto ballhead? Or is there a certain technique? Or even a certain type of flashlight?

  • how did you assembled the gimball to the handle? answer please!!

  • Hi. I enjoyed your assembly of the DIY Steadycam.

I live in the USA, where do I purchase the parts to make my own RIG?

Ballhead$ ?... Flashlight Torch$ ?... 2 Aluminum Square Frames$ ?... Copper Tube Pipe (how long is this?)... AND... Is there any sawing involved at all?

    THANKS.

  • what is your estimated cost of this rig? I would like to make this but I have a quite tight budget.

  • Hi great video and amazing shots at the end. How did you decide the amount of weights to add as counterbalance weights? Do you have to balance off the weight of the camera?

  • What are flashlight torch screws?

Great video. Really enjoyed the simplicity.

  • can u put a GL2 on it to? or differnt weights?

  • would this work for the gopro?. or to big?

  • If i would buy all of the things to built it, about how much would it cost me? :o

  • @MrBobyLOL

the most expensive thing would be the mounting plate. The estimate cost of a ManFrotto 323 is 49$

  • @MrBobyLOL

Or otherwise the gimbal only cost 20 $

  • piokiyo, can you provide input on the placement of the gimbal (measurements) and why you chose the 8' and 10' inch lengths for the vertical and bottom pieces? did you try other lengths? thx

  • Great job! It is obvious you did some research and chose each part with purpose. This is a great design.

  • 7d?

  • this Steadicam 801-7100 Metal Gimbal works with the giottos MH 1304?

  • nice one! please make a tutorial on gimbal assembly..tnx!
