  • Here's a question I have:

What does one do when he or she has found a healthy balance with something

and the other person still feels threatened by it? Can a "needy" person become addicted to feeling threatened, always playing the victim?

  • I stopped watching pornography after contemplation that all other beings were our mothers in a previous life, it really sunk in how we should show others the respect and care you would your "real" mother, without lust.

  • @kensei85 It seems like that would have the opposite effect.

  • @masaruX3 well it sure doesn't for me, but to each their own!

  • @kensei85 What happens when that realization has the opposite effect?

  • @kensei85 so how then would people lust after each other then to HAVE sex and sometimes make babies?

  • @zezt the instructions aren't for everyone, but those who wish to abandon lust and who do not wish to make babies. To make babies is to create suffering: birth is suffering and leads to death which is suffering. 2500 years of monks and nuns practicing abstinence hasn't made populations decrease, so whether we are abstinent or not, humanity will go on regardless, and in fact, if overpopulation is true then we are perhaps doing humanity a favour and helping the survival of future generations

  • @kensei85 god you Buddhists what ya like...? birth isn't ONLY suffering but loads of other stuff, like joy, lust, play, giggling, etc...? i just find your belief so life denying is all.

  • @zezt Bringing a child into the world is rolling a dice with it's fate, for instance, look up harlequin ichthyosis. It's not life denying, it's facing the true nature of life and reality. Samsara is a burning hamster wheel, all things are tainted with imperminence, with lack of self or control, and with suffering. Only by letting go of the root causes, sensual desire, ill-will and delusion can we be free from suffering. Nirvana, freedom from suffering is the highest happiness.

  • No U.

  • Well said :-)

  • We live in a sensual world. I love Ajahn Brahm! He's wonderful.

  • i wonder what his thoughts on people who are in open relationships would be. he says that sleeping with others besides your partner hurts others but what about in the cases where both partners realize that lust for others will arise and agree to an open relationship? i've seen people argue that monogamy is in fact an extreme state that humans force on themselves in spite of their nature so maybe this would actually be another type of 'middle way.'

  • great video ;)

  • Want to get in touch with your true higher self?Figured out that most information out there is recycling the same words?Unleash your true psychic powers.Let the spiritual revolution begin THE-HIDDEN-SPIRITdotCOM

  • @RyanKHS06 :)

  • I think food(thats vegan) falls into the category of; pleasure derived from creativity and talent which I dont consider to be that harmful. Its a case of someone using there talent to cook to bring joy to others, just like a musician or artist. I think sexuality on the other hand is a little more corrupting, and it has the potential to make ppl indifferent towards eachother even to the extent they could commit rape. But on the other hand sexual confidence can be empowering and very positive

  • Buddhism is very profound.

Be reality, not to prohibit something, but awareness.

Matter of habitual practice, avoid addiction, be mindfulness.

Not to be harmful, regardless harm to others or oneself.

They are just simple & practical theories.

Altruism, Middle Way & Awareness is the doctrine.

  • Buddhism is the real worship of exaltedness

  • finally life someone who knows the Dhamma .

  • Ajahn Brahm is awesome!

  • Moderation in all things, including moderation.

  • Thank you for posting this, and the other segments, I find they are quite profound., I would just like to say that we need to remember the right of free choice that we all have

  • RIGHT MINDFULNESS is part of Eightfold noble Path. Mindfulness is the foundation of Buddhist path.

  • i admire him soooo much!! Thank you for your wisdom.

  • I have an EXTREMELY homophobic friend who thinks every display of friendly affection is homosexual. One time we were in the locker room and I commented on his member, and he got all uncomfortable. So to calm him down I came up behind him and gave him I kiss on the neck and held him. Now he thinks I'm gay just because I was aroused but that's not from being gay it's just from working out. Now he goes around telling people that I'm gay and that he doesn't like gays. What a gay basher.

  • @lostnalone i agree with your opinion

being a gay or an atheist doesn't mean you're bad

it only means you're different, that's all.

  • hmm, its always men who seem to have a harder time controlling their emotions.;/

  • I like many have issues with sensuality ...lust...when a pretty girl walks past I look ...but I went to a buddhist meditation night a few weeks ago and there was a pretty girl there who talked to me..usually I would mentally take her home with me...but .funnily enough, lust simply wasnt there for me...I left her in the temple...I felt free from lust after meditation and dhamma...purity is power

  • I think focusing on similarities rather than differences is far more important...Ive met kind gay, atheists and extremely mean, self-righteous christians

  • i am addicted to facebook and the internet now. and yes these kind of things keep you drawn out from your meditation.

thanks for uploading this talk. great talk.

  • great talk

  • grateful for these videos in hartford connecticut usa

  • I had a friend that was homofobic. VERRY homofobic. Im not gay but his homofobia really affected our friendship. He went so extream I had problems just smiling to him for a longer time without him freaking out saying "Man thats gay!". Our friendship ended in the long run becouse he was unable to love me as a friend. He was so afraid of male emotions. He was to extreme. He didnt find that balance that is so important for you. He didnt go the middle way and showed me the love. To just be a friend.

  • @mnemoniccourier Dude, that's gay.

  • @masaruX3 You just proved me point with that statement.

  • @mnemoniccourier And yet, you proved mine with yours.

  • @masaruX3 And your proved mine with yours. Why do you look at buddhist speeches on youtube if you cant handle love between men?

  • @mnemoniccourier No U.

  • @masaruX3 Right..... Im messaging a 5 year old child........

  • Wonderful, thank you!!

  • when we fight or argue on the internet no one ever wins. Its silly.really your gonna sit around diarrheaing of the mouth at each other? life is not that serious. We're all the same really.learn to relax your brains.theres more to life than fighting on youtube over Ajahn Brahm.listen to him and know that he totally rocks and its in you to rock at life also!

  • amen, brother. we need to focus on the commonalities we have whether it be in science, religion, philosophy, or whatever. we have so many things in common, but we always look for what's wrong. pleasant debate is perfectly healthy, but these religious arguments on the internet just deteriorate into name calling. i've had a few good ones, but have had to abruptly stop some after realizing that the other person was basically yelling at me with earplugs in.

  • Two great books on celibacy (freely available)

    1) Practice of Brahmacharya- Swami Sivananda (google it)

    2) The Secret of Eternal Youth- Asaram Bapu (available from his website in downloads section)

  • if only the world were full of people as eloquent as the orator on the vid instead of you bunch of silly arses. I'm learning - if your words don't improve on silence, shut up!!!!!!!

  • HarmoniousHom

Please brush up your knowledge on Buddhism before you comment.

    Watch this video,

    'Buddhist and Christian traditions Meet'

  • @impermanentoo

If I remember this monks speech, he condones homosexual. Well, one of his speech. Which is in violation of the law of God. He makes himself above God. Buddhism is trying to reach God by man's way. Never!

Buddhism will be extinct, Jesus Christ will rule Supreme.

Sorry to sound so sure of myself, but the word of God says so.

I suggest you go read Mike Shreve's testimony

I have link at my channel. follow my instruction if you can how to find his testimony.

  • This man talks in such a way as to insert these concepts so lovingly into your reality, as for faggy voice, you gotta be kidding! listen to what he says not how he says it, sounds like richmond450 has a bit of homophobia goin, or is he just being silly?

  • @pmwdrgn7

Most probably those who have tendancy to become gay are always homophobes, its a proven fact.

  • yes

  • Actually, that is the main feature of being a Buddhist!

    :o)

  • Yes! That is the ultimate goal.

    :o)

  • Long live Ajahn Brahm, your talked changed my life. Im a better man because of you. Sadhu to Ajahn Brahm

  • Check out who's this monk before you speak.

  • why you hate gay?

  • he's probably american. Americans hate gays, muslims, buddhists, hindus, Asians in general. Don't believe me? Type gay and American in youtube and you'll get a load of videos depicting homophobia.

  • HarmoniousHom Nice to see you in all our videos on Buddhism. You must have a lot of dhamma by now.

Why are you still so confused, talk about sin and hell all the time.

Buddhists have no sins. We believe in kamma.

I'd prefer to go to hell if hell is meant for the wise and the non-believer of christ. I can imagine how wonderful it will be as I can still discuss about dhamma with my fellow monks and Buddhists there.

  • @impermanentoo You guys live in denial of the reality of truth. Buddhism is eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. When a country make a certain law that prohibit a certain thing are you willing to break that law and afterward to meditate your way out of the consequences?

This is the way of Buddhism, no consequences for wrong doing, no reconciliation, no forgiveness, no restoration of damage done to any person, no accountability. Lawless is the Buddhism.

  • @HarmoniousHom - be careful what you say friend. It is a sin to utter falsehoods. It may be forgiven if you spoke out of ignorance and you admit it. Thou shalt not lie. That is quite explicit in the list. One may be forgive if one repents. God be with you and your kind.

  • @matreyia

Buddhism believe in Sin? You surprise me. Or are u referring me sinning against the God of the bible?

-Man needs to reconcile himself with God, not with himself.

-Man breaks God's law ever day.

-Man can only finds forgiveness through Jesus Christ.

-Without blood-there is no forgiveness of sins.

Buddhism is void of all the lists above.

-Buddhism earn your way to wherever...?

-Eternal life is God's gifts to man... not something you earn.

  • @ HarmoniousHom: "no consequences for wrong doing, no reconciliation, no forgiveness, no restoration of damage done to any person, no accountability. Lawless is the Buddhism."

True evidence of ur ignorance about Buddhist teachings. It is quite clear that it was taught - "there are results from evil deeds, from good deeds. That all actions are accounted for in this life & the next."

Therefore friend, learn more about a subject before showing ur ignorance about it.

  • @matreyia

The Bible teaches that it is appointed once for man to die, after that is the Judgment. No reincarnations, period. Jesus doesn't like u mixing his teachings with Buddhist to please your beliefs. He is exclusive saying, "I am the way, truth and the life, no come unto the father but by me." Apart from knowing n believing in him-condemnation is upon those who reject him now. You been defraud my friend.

  • Friend, what do you think about this?

"Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with those who strive, & tolerant with the weak & wrong - because sometime in your life, you will have been all of these."

Does it sound reasonable or un-reasonable?

  • @matreyia Hey, nothing wrong with such attitudes. Jesus uses harsh words with the Pharisees in his days. But not with the common folks and the unlearn. But you people are learned and you have a positions that you stand guard?

This Ajahn Brahm is teaching people to sin against the word of the Mighty God. I confess my delivery may not be the kindest. But the truth still stands even if I'm a scum bag.

I'll be a scum bag for Jesus.

  • HarmoniousHom: "I'll be a scum bag for Jesus."

Shameful words for one who claims to follow such a pristine Being. When I read about Christ & His Life & Works...I was filled to the brim with self disgust and self disappointment. But after calmness returned, I realized His teachings to forgive. As I forgive folks such as U, I also forgave myself & repented & decided to work to end my impurities as best as I could. Now, I am only a man, just as the Buddha was. Neither he nor I am divine...

  • As I am not divine, I am liable to falter...to be fooled by my egotistical sense of self - pride, anger, jealousy & hate. I do not pretend to be above them. I try to guard against them best I can. If I am cursed for my best efforts, it does not matter, for I do not strive because I desire the blessings of any Divinity, I strive simply because I understand, it is Good to strive against Evil in any form. B/c Evil creates suffering for me & others.

  • What do you think HarmoniousHom?

Is it possible to unite water with oil?

As U strive to unite with God, Christ, Holy Spirit, which are pure, spotless, disciplined, free of ignorance - As u strive for this by being undisciplined, speaking in ignorance, acting hateful....so it is like a man who tries to unite oil with water....It is impossible that u will ever unite with those fine things.

  • Therefore HarmoniousHom, I suggest that you truly pray to Christ to give you the strength & patience to work on eradicating ur own addiction to pride, anger, hate rudeness etc. Before U come to declare the spotless truth of Christ's teachings, U should make sure u r also pure, that u may rightly represent Him & His spotless Glory. Then U will certainly be successful in saving whosoever is blessed to meet ur pure mind, body & spirit in the name of Christ.

  • For when U are impure & U claim to represent something that teaches purity of mind, body & spirit...then on that account U sin via misrepresentation and damaging that very thing which U proclaim.

If this continues, it is certain that discerning people will look at ur arrogance, rudeness as evidence of a false doctrine... and therefore, u will end up denying those folks any chance of being saved simply by repulsing them. Then ur destination will be Hell. Please be careful, & - cultivate love.

  • @matreyia

Hey, I accept your rebuke. I realized there are Buddhists out there who are better than I am.

I know it is very hard to convey the message of the Gospel. I did started out as rude with this channel. You see, I came from Cambodia. Cambodia is a Buddhist country. I wish very much that my people could know the truth. Buddhism doesn't seem to work out for them

very well. People are just carnal minded, nothing changed waste and destructions continues.

  • Friend, I congratulate you truly. You are blessed indeed. Worshipping rightly, by acting and cultivating peace, love, forgiveness, you do Jesus Christ a great deal of service and will shine as an example of the truth of His teachings. May you do well and ur congregation save as many souls as it is ordained. Peace be with you. Glory be Halleluja, Halleluja Friend!

  • @HarmoniousHom You seem to tell readers here only half truth that Cambodia is a Buddhism country. Khmers(Cambodians) have also been well-known as a sorcery land. Is that the reason why Cambodia is full of waste and destruction? Don't try to find fault in Buddhism, just to boast your Christianity.

  • @matreyia

You know, this channel might be the only place that I may be the most mean spirited. At others, I try to be civil and respectful.

Why don't you become a true follower of Messiah and bring the truth to a dying world by you control spirit manner? Jesus could use more people like you. What you say to that?

  • Friend, I have seen things you would not believe. I have read things which many souls would not dare to read. I have read the books of the Luciferians, Church of Satan, the Holy Quran, The Gospels of the Apostles, the Apocryphical Writings, the Tripitaka Canon, the Torah (Old Testament). I have done all this in the name of understanding, for I am just as lost as any poor soul in this world. I will tell you something about my experience...All the people I have met, the things I have seen...cont.

  • I understand, God is infinite & beyond comprehension, infinite in skillful means. He does what needs to be done, gives exactly what is needed, in perfect amounts. He does not care what I think, or what U think or name something or someone. Just as the venom of a poisonous snake can be made into a life saving medicine, so too can the most vile thing be the most potent catalyst to bring people to realize His Will. Do you understand my words Friends? I can explain privately if needed.

  • Sometimes Friend, some "Buddhists" can seem to be more Christian-like that some "Christians".

Likewise, some "Christians" can be more pure shining examples of "Buddhists" than some Buddhists.

Do you understand what I am saying?

Life is too complex to think that we can simply put things into black & white, up & down. The things which help us are 1. Humbleness, 2. Patience (w/everyone) 3. Sincere desire to find truth, peace & love.

SINCERITY is the key in any faith. Let us all be sincere. : )

  • Oh my friend, HarmoniousHom, if you only knew how much Christ is in my heart now, you would not have even asked me to be a true follower of Christ. Thank you for your concern. May all Beings be at peace and find that which is beneficial for them forever and ever.

  • HarmoniousHom: Friend, do you realize that Buddhists do not believe in re-incarnation? That is a Hindu belief.

Buddhists see the reality of REBIRTH, not the myth of RE-INCARNATION. So you see Friend, Christians believe that there is such a thing as REBIRTH just as the Buddhists do. Otherwise, one could not ever say, "I am a born again Christian."

Again, Friend, I pray that ur mind becomes peaceful & clear so that U cease to commit sinful acts with ur speech against things which U don't know.

  • @matreyia

Pray to whom if I may ask? I'm here to help the misguide minds. And b/c of that I'm will come into conflict with your view. We are in a spiritual warfare.

There is no rebirth without accepting Jesus Christ as one's personal savior. Actually, Jesus said that a person must born again from above. So rebirth is not a correct doctrine.

I am here to tell lost souls that they can be save through Jesus Christ. I don't know the every thing there is about Buddhism. Thanks

    for corrections.

  • Harmonious: "...Jesus said...must be born again from above."

Friend, IF Jesus said this, then he speaks the truth. But what U don't seem to understand is that is only one aspect. The reality of rebirth is all around u every single second, both figuratively and literally. Spiritually, and Physically.

Do U not see the seasons? The day & nights? The vacillation of U mind to & fro different moods (often conflicting), the complete replacement of all ur cells in ur body every seven years?

  • HarmoniousHom: "I'm here to help the misguided minds."

A misguided mind is one that acts with ignorant, negative intentions, prideful, hateful, angry thoughts while believing that he is acting with pure intentions & thoughts. Since I have shown U & ur faith respect, spoken only the truths, show politeness in the face of rudeness, forgiveness in the face of aggression...who is misguided friend?

Again, please stop, take some breaths, & let ur mind clear up, rid urself of pride, cultivate love.

  • Sin is very enticing. No man is exempt from it.

"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God

    is eternal life."

He is right, sin is in every one of us when we

yield to sin we will add one more sin in the

wage bag, eventially one will succumb to

    death.

Sin is a curse to any nation, righteousness

    exalt a nation.

  • 38 zero zero zero :P

  • thankyou very much

  • The Middle Way, the Golden Mean...Whatever you like to call it. So beautifully simple and practical. This could change the world.

  • Homosexuality doesn't harm society. Homophobia does.

  • @davidconway1958 YES YES and YES

  • Then maybe society is the one who should reach out for understanding and stop harming both it self and homosexual people?

  • How do homosexuality harms society?

It's like saying short people harm society.

  • homosexuality is not what harms society. every group of everything has it's problems. sometimes society decides that one groups problems are not acceptable in order to cover up other problems. It is not harmful to grow up with gays. the only thing that can be harmful is if society is always telling them it's wrong and attacking them for being "wrong". society just says that straight is "right" because that's how most people are. In ancient greece bisexuality was perfectly normal. it's just socie

  • @tharma4u : Red hot chilli peppers are the scourge of society. Forget the homos, watch out for those peppers!!!

  • @matreyia

Your channel name is very interesting.

It's similar to 'betrayal'. to me it is that.

And you Buddhists are looking for that 'betrayal' to appear on the horizion. Exactly as the bible predicted. Many false Christs will come in their own names and deceive many.

Jesus came in his Father's name and u don't receive him but another who come in his own name you will receive him.

Jesus has over 300 prophecies that prophecy about his first coming.

  • @HarmoniousHom: thanks for finding my name interesting. I never thought it sounded anything like 'betrayal', alas though, I guess u project what preoccupies ur mind at the moment.

So u think alot about betrayal, deception, mistrust. I do pray that u may soon be able to live without such stressful & negative thoughts. My u live w/the serenity & peace of Christ, undisturbed by hate, anger, mistrust or stress. May u truly understand His teachings & reach the goal of all Christians.

  • @matreyia

The Bible tells me that all of my goodness is as filthy rags before a Holy God, not holy monks.

I know enough of Buddhism that is not the right way to eternal life. This monk denies there is no such thing as sin. Jesus didn't trust himself to any man b/c he knew what is in man, why should I trust you? I trust the word of God. The word of God condemns the way of Buddhism. Not that there is no good in Buddhism, but not the whole truth.

  • @HoarmoniousHom: "I know enough of Buddhism that is not the right way to eternal life."

    Really Friend? Do you?

Tell me Friend, did you even realize that the goal of the Buddha's teaching was not to achieve eternal life?

Friend, I don't ask U or anyone to trust me. Why should I?

U trust the Word of God, as U believe it. Wonderful for U then. I wish I had something to believe in with such conviction as U. Congratulations.

As for myself, I am afraid I am stuck with some instructions...cont.

  • Stuck w/instructions on 1. Not taking anyone's word about anything, except after I verify it myself.

    2. Avoid cultivating thoughts, actions, deeds & speech which cause stress to myself and to others on purpose.

    3. Pay proper respect to folks who are peaceful & wise, who encourage peace & wisdom.

    4. Pay proper respect to other people's beliefs since I do not know if I am right or wrong yet.

    5. Rejoice in other's joy in life, religious success, & material success.

    Therefore, I congratulate you.

  • @matreyia

Come one Enlighten one. Nirvana is what Buddhism aim for. Same thing as eternal life.

Why waste all that time for fiat hope that doesn't exist in reality. The Bible was given that we might have hope of a better future. God's word been tried and tested refine by fire like gold and silver. To get pure silver it has to go through a process of fire 7 times. The Bible is the touch stone to determine the true gold or beliefs. There's fools gold out there!

  • HarmoniousHom, you flatter me! I no fool to think I am even close to Enlightenment! But thanks.

Sir, Nirvana is no eternal life. Whatever U have heard or read that led U to this understanding has been erroneous. Nirvana is the complete cessation of suffering, the end of rebirth. It is no place, no time, not able to be described in language.

I fear U won't understand this at all & will be quite disturbed at my description. Because U love ur life very much, that U want to live eternally.

  • Remember this Friend, my purpose here is to correct ur misunderstandings or falsehoods about Buddhism. It is not to degrade ur faith. Ur faith has brought U great solace & courage in life, so it is holy...therefore, I should try to avoid degrading something which has done U such benefit.

Don't worry, however horrible ur behavior is towards me is, that has nothing to do with my practice of politeness and cultivation of peace & sympathy for you. Indeed, Ur a great teacher & I thank U sincerely.

  • HarmoniousHom, without you, I would not get the opportunity to practice what I study. You are the dumbell of my exercise routine. Thank you for making my mental & spiritual muscles grow by reading ur aggressive comments.

How hard it would be for a man to build muscles without the help of resistance.

  • You see HarmoniousHom, I have great respect for the Gospels. A great Christian sponsored my family to the States & took us to Baptist Sunday school fro 10 yrs. I would never go to a Christian YT video clip to argue with folks there. It's mighty unpeaceful rude. It smells of pride, which is taught as a poisonous mental affliction. But here you are...disparaging, arguing others waving ur own flag...no evidence of absorbing the teachings of Christ at all. Curious.

  • @tharma4u, really?, homo people harms the society? I mean, you must be red neck to say this right? Seriously!

  • thank you ajahn :) hope to see you one day in real :) anyone knows where to see his "tours" ? :D

  • Ajahn Brahm is so wise and knowledgeable. His innocent nature and sense of humour makes an hour pass like 5 minutes. Great lecture (sermon?).

  • where is this place in australie please?

  • This is in Kingsbury Drive, Serpentine, Western Australia

  • magebaba, don't let alfulani5 get on your nerves. As the great Ajahn Brahm has said many times - in so many words - there will always be insults and hatred, and accepting that is a step towards not giving a crap about people like alfani5. Let him spew hatred from his tongue, but do not react. He is obviously not aware of his own misguidance. He is only hurting his own psyche and karma. We must pray for him and his repressed buddha-nature.

  • yeah thanx for reminding my friend. i don't get angry. i just log in to youtube in my spare time to kill sometime because guys like "alfulani5" really make my day.

don't worry. "alfulani5" is a utter idiot. loser.

    "Theruwan Saranai".

  • Magebaba ... you are, alas, in a similar mould! Why do you abuse Prophet Mohammed? Why do you stoop so low? Is your self-esteem also in the gutter?

I am not a Muslim, and will never be, but they have a right to their form of worship, too!

  • Ajahn Brahm is so right. When I lived in Saudi Arabia, the Saudi males were absolutely crazy!! Since they segregate the sexes and cover their women in black shrouds, when they saw a western woman, they'd like stalk you through the malls and chase you. I feared for my life everytime I left the compound. Just goes to show how counter productive covering and repressing sensuality is.

  • Pigs will be more grateful than you!

I am sure you will not think twice before defecating on the very plate you have been offered food!

You are a disgrace for Biddhism and whole of humanity!

  • Nice, totally expected reply from a fundamentalist. Thanks for the confirmation of all of humanity's complaints about insane ill-mannered Muslims.

  • ofcourse pigs are more greatfull. because according to quran a pig was the father of allha.

  • It must be that the big treefucker Buddah has been fathered by a big PIG!

  • Hey, you are as shameful as that Musselman ... stop using such sick language!

  • Do not insult god. It's considered bad kamma. Regardless of religion.

  • My friend from Arabia said the exact same thing. She is Saudi and says she would rather marry a moderate thinking guy who doesn't treat women like they do.

She also said that they are so blind about their religion that most of them don't even wear seatbelts for themselves or their children. Reason: they think that Allah chooses your death and there ain't nothing you can do about it. Talk about Fatalism. No responsibility at all. Just put everything in some god who they have only read about.

  • Sir, my friend works full time as a Red Crescent organizer. They offer the poor and helpless medical services in the Middle East.

Thanks again for confirming your stupidity.

  • Comment removed

  • That would be difficult since she lives in Saudi Arabia now. And she is not a Buddhist either. She is a kind an gentle spirit who happens to be Muslim.

Which leaves me to ask, what happened to u that made you so abrasive, unkind, ill mannered, and full of hate & filthy speech. Are u what the world should expect when they think of what a "true" Muslim should be? Or is my good friend who works to help poor people in the Middle East a true Muslim? She never says bad things about others, unlike u.

  • I started using profanity because I got sick of being the hypocrite Buddist motherfuckers who preach compassion and practice arrogance!

And talking of your "friend" she cannot be a Muslim while speaking bad about Islam! So you'd rather go screw the Christian or Buddist whore whome you call friend!

And As far as I know no woman works in Saudi Red Crescent! So stop this nonsense and tell her that I called her a liar and a whore!

  • She may be based in Saudi Arabia, but she is frequently among the Palestinians who have been displaced. She does not stay at one place.

She did not speak bad of Islam. She just told of how some people in Saudi Arabia who refuse to take responsibility while driving. Being a medical person, I can see how it frustrates her to see needless seat belt related deaths.

U sure like to prejudge people whom U don't know. But u don't like it when people judge U based on ur words in these comments.

  • Many (of course not all) Muslim males are hypocrites, chasing every skirt they can get, at the same time going as far as stoning widows who decide to remarry!

Not the majority (I repeat myself), but the majority is often silent when the sick minority puts out the rules! Many of them (like this Alfulani-fruitcake) are closet homosexuals!

  • I never even considered Alfulani5 a closet gay. Being gay is nothing bad, but being a closet gay is betraying yourself and how you were born.

You could be right about him, although I just thought he was just stupid, ignorant and insane with hate. By the way in which he ignores whatever question you pose to him and just replies with nonsense and childish profanity and name calling...I just thought he might just be 7th grade low level intelligence kid or something.

  • That Alfulani coward is a sick spirit; he goes around spilling his invective everywhere he can: look on his page, and you see the hooded Jihadist-terrorists, spewing hatred and death — and bringing such grief to their communities! If I were a Muslim I would feel shame that such a perverted character spoke for my religion!

  • I hope you learn better English Alfulani5 :

    FORCE: definition #3 - verb

violence, compulsion, or constraint exerted upon or against a person or thing

Text: - to cause (a person) to give in to pressure.

Synonyms: coerce, compel, constrain, drive, MAKE, muscle, obligate, oblige, press, pressure

  • he he. alfulani5 ==what a loser.

  • Mind is the forerunner of all evil states.

Mind is chief; mind-made are they.

If one speaks or acts with wicked mind,

Because of that, suffering follows one,

Even as the wheel follows the hoof of the draught-ox.

    ~ The Buddha (Dhpd. 1)

  • Better than absolute sovereignty over the earth,

    Better than going to heaven,

Better than even lordship over all the worlds,

Is the Fruit of a Stream-winner.

    ~ The Buddha (Dhpd. 178)

(Stream-winner: One who would attain final Nibbana

within seven lifetimes at the most.)

  • The Venerable Anuruddha uttered this verse upon the entering of parinibbana of the Lord Buddha:

No breathing in and out just with steadfast heart

The Sage whos free from lust has passed away to peace.

With mind unshaken he endured all pains:

By Nibbana the Illumineds mind is freed.

  • These were the very last words the Buddha uttered before entering parinibbana:

"Behold, O monks, this is my last advice to you. All component things in the world are changeable. They are not lasting. Work hard to gain your own salvation."

  • To those who do not know Ajahn Brahm, he's a scholar from Cambridge University who read theological physics. Not an ordinary monk as he is one of the most virtuous monk.

  • Kalama Sutta

Do not believe in anything (simply)

    because you have heard it.

Do not believe in traditions because they

have been handed down for many generations.

Do not believe in anything because it is

    spoken and rumoured by many.

  • Do not believe in anything (simply) because

it is found written in your religious books.

Do not believe in anything merely on the authority

    of your teachers and elders.

    But after observation and analysis

when you find that anything agrees with reason

and is conductive to the good and benefit of one and all

then accept it and live up to it. *This is the teaching of the Buddha

    (Tipitaka - Anguttara Nikaya Vol. 1, 188-193)

  • I think this mans view is more based on the so called "values" of modern society, where men can still be buddhist monks, and fuck eachother up the ass.

Thats really blunt, but thats pretty much what he means i think.

Hes not a conservative buddhist. Hes the "do wut u want as long as it dont hurt anyone....hurting ur asshole doesnt count, cuz its pleasurable for u" I dont expect any gentle souls on here to like that comment, but Bhodidharma would of agreed with me. He was a prick too.

  • Uh huh, Allahuakbar dude.

  • "Homosexuality thrives in Muslim communities for the same reasons it prospers in prison;- No women. In strict Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, a man is not even allowed to make eye contact with a woman. The social structure is segragated by sex. Any woman leaving a homestead has to be accompanied by a relative.

These young single men full of libido can't fool around with women. By the time they get married it's already too late coz I hear once you get in in the back you never go back."

  • Buddism is the most unpractical concept in the world!

Everyone has to end up as beggars and roam the streets to attain "enlightment".

  • yeah that's right. sp watch this and convert to islam.

    watch this.

"Islam teaches sex with 1 day old child is OK!!!"

wow. sex with a new born baby.

  • There you go again Al. No one has to end up as beggars. Only forest tradition monks who want to practice austerity...and there are not many of those around. Better to beg than to kill people with explosives or cut off innoncent people's heads off. What a terrible fate awaits those who do such violent deeds.

  • I dont say they have to end up as beggars. Rather to attain enlightment they have to beg!!

You seem to be just one trouble make who makes others waste time. First you make up your mind with regard to your stand and then start talking!

In any case the molestation of little boy monks goes on in buddist temples in Sri Lanka as you keep typing nonsense!

  • Again Al, no one has to end up beggars in order to attain enlightment. I already corrected U about this lie in another video, but I will state it again. Vimalakirti was a wealthy businessman who was very enlightened. So again you reveal UR ignorance about Buddhism & hate without investigating the truth. So again U set to slander Buddhism, but this time, I am tracking U to correct ur misstatements. Like a father repeatedly corrects a retarded child so must I do the same for U.

  • I dont slander Budism, I just state the facts.

I see seemingly well educated Westerners kissing the feet of stinky old monks, and walk the streets in rags begging for food. I just wanted to tell them that it is not the way for happiness or success in the afterlife!

  • I see no facts. Only false words and ignorance and misunderstandings about Buddhism. You keep showing your ignorance by repeating things such as "you have to be a beggar to attain enlightment". When you have been told the contrary.

And you always avoid the truth about forced conversions of Islam. You r here trying to convert people using lies and forceful language. This directly proves that Islam encourages conversion by coercion. What a sad and scare person you must be.

  • I am not trying to force anyone!

I am just trying to make the Westeners use their brain and not end up kissing the feet of stinky old monks!!

  • yeah don't waste time here.

watch this video and convert to islam.

"Sex with Children : Investigate Islam"

islam is so peacefull and fun. you can even sleep with your kids.

  • Oh MAAAAH GAAAH.....I thought you were kidding about this "sex with children" video clip so I did a search on it. I watched the entire video.

I am completely speechless. No words exist which can express the diabolical nature of the Hadiths. I mean, can even Satan go that low?

That video was created by a Middle Eastern guy too. Well, I guess there is hope for the Mid East people after all.

  • ha ha. no that's how muslims behave. you have to come to sri lanka to see how muslim dads sell their innocent daughters to older men.

these people are just disgusting. but it's not their fault. Prophet Mohamed married little aisha when she was 6 and had sex when she was 9. it's in their blood. wow.

  • So u think that Westerners can't use their brains & are not able to choose for themselves? U think that u are smarter than people whom u have never met. Ur pride is immeasurable like the ocean. Ur arrogance is beyond imagination. U sir are a disgrace to Islam & to Muslims world wide.

You say "I'm not trying to force anyone!"

Then the next sentence you say, "I am just trying to MAKE the westerners....etc."

U either suffer from extreme stupidity or u don't care about logic of ur statements.

  • f you dont know the difference between "force" and "Make them think" I am sorry to say but it looks more like you dont know English or you are just plain stupid!

  • westerns don't need some brainwashed islamic loser to tell them how to think.

westerners are not like you pathetic muslims. they always question and learn unlike you pathetic muslims who follow some rubbish written by ordinary guy like slaves.

it's really funny a muslim is trying to teach westerners how to use thier brain. ha ha. LOL.

  • Look at this total idiot magebaba maing a total fool of himself!

He follows a religion that tells to go sit in a jungle and rot!

    Get a brain!

  • yeah but my religion never tells me to go and kill innocent people because they don't believe my religion. LOL.

for the record 300 million more people follow that religion with me.

they will look at your comments and say "alfulani5" what a loser. LOL.

  • Take your 300 million and shove it up Ajahn Brams ass for all I care!

  • Some Muslims may say that Muhammad preached love for people of other religions, but there is not a single verse in the Qur'an that commands this. Yet there are 493 verses that either tell Muslims to kill unbelievers or that speak to Allah's hatred for them and how they will be tortured in Hell. Non-Muslims are referred to as the "vilest of animals" in Islam's holiest book.

  • Quran is not for brainless pigs like you!

  • Why thank you. Finally, something we both can agree on. Q'uran is certainly not for a "brainless pig" like me. Allahuakbar dude.

  • ha ha. quran is certainly not for me. is that make me a pig. LOL.
